Urbanovich was most probably over-priced. We already knew about him. He doesn't really care about the side bet vs Selbst any more because he knows there's almost no shot that he'll win it. He's even already paid her the money.

(Although obviously he's still a steal for this for 75 points.)

Yep.

Basically (in the $25k at least), the top 81 finishers in the Colossus get 100 points (at least). So that's why one or 2 of the guys with chips in it (like Rep Porter) went for quite a bit more in the 25k than they would have otherwise.

7. Score will be based on your team's combined WSOP player of the year points. Only open events in Las Vegas will count towards your score.
We aren't talking about the 25k scoring in this sweat thread.

And I think it is pretty telling Ivey didn't even get drafted for $1 in 25k fantasy...I'm liking Marco Johnson more since he got drafted. I'm worried about Bakes though, but I'll take one dud on my team.

Anyone know if Jens Lakemeier is around yet? Or what kind of volume he might be playing?

WSOP.com says: "Players who make the money but who
do not advance to Day 2, will be listed in the order of total payout amount received." (http://www.wsop.com/2016/colossus/Pa...ossus%20II.pdf)

So if you cash in multiple day 1s you get sorted higher up in the results.

Don't worry about Shaun Deeb, he sat down at the stud 10k...

i'm a ****ing idiot for not taking Urbanovich.. also, I exchanged Alex Luneau for Jason Somerville for fear he wouldn't turn up - Apparently he is now, which makes him one of the best picks out there. with the information gathered within the last 3 days, I would've completely changed my roster.

So much for the whine, gl2 every1

My team would be drastically different based on the info I got from guys in the know after the 25k draft. But Schulman is still going to shop a bracelet even if he only plays 1 event.

And Tuan Le would be decent since he's obv going to win the 10k 2-7

part of the reason registration was due June 1st is so that people couldn't sheep the results of this draft

more fun this way and a wider variety of picks

These days, it seems Ivey has less interest in the WSOP, but Negreanu says his friend will return, and for now, he's happy to focus on his own hunt for WSOP gold.

"He'll be back," he said. "It's just a temporary thing. The last couple of years he's found himself in some games in Asia that he needs to be in, but I expect him to be back. He'll be back at the World Series, maybe not this year until very late, but he loves the World Series and he loves the grind.

ugh..

Btw why are we only 2 to have picked Justin Bonomo, am i missing something? (looked kind of a decent pick when i made the decision).
06-05-2016 , 09:26 AM
Because he is expensive and people like cheering for people they like, not passive aggressive attention seeking whores.

Expensive, more or less NL/PLO player. Could be wrong though..

I hovered back and forth with him, but in the end he was just too expensive...

Very surprised nobody chose Danzer, would have expected at least 1 or 2, even if he's really expensive

I had him in my final 15, but he was just too expensive.

I am still baffled about the lack of hellmuth choices.
has been a top 20 contender every year for POY the past 5 or 6 years. Not to mention a bracelet threat every event.

not that I am complaining of course
