I squeezed in both & still noticed your team as one that perhaps overlaps most with mine.

yeah, chose Shaun Deeb instead as third headliner behind Urbanovich and Chidwick
gonna be a close race

Damn! Already a good man down before battle commences. Just saw his comment on May 30th (picked him on 27th) that he is skipping the series for personal reasons. Pretty sure I will cooler the other 9 in my team at some point.

I listened to pokerlife podcast with Deeb straight after submitting my team including him - oops- might only play main.

Lol, no. I will take bets against this, or even close to POY.

And ty for all the effort Xander.
- Btw you have Btp325's team on that sheet twice.

fixed

I've got the feeling that there's another duplicate on there since 7 doesn't go into 125 but it goes into 126

how are the POY points counted for the colossus? As you can get ITM multiple times
might count for peanuts anyway

let's let the GPI worry about how to calculate the points
06-03-2016 , 09:12 AM
I asked Kevmath, but he wasn't sure. Presumed that they would only count the highest position. Bearing in mind Alex Dreyfus is behind it, anything could happen. I doubt they even know yet.

Peanuts is right (12-50 last year). Not worth the mind****

If someone you own ships the Colossus, be ready for heartbreak as they used up all their rungood to get the same amount of points as a 10th place in the 10k Stud with 90 entrants.
06-03-2016 , 12:38 PM
I know the formula changes the points based on how long ago, but these are from the same time period, so the ratio should be the same.

Cord Garcia: 1st in $565 Colossus out of 22374 players. GPI Points: 51.57 Date: 5/29/15
Paul Volpe: 12th in $10k 2-7 TD out of 109 players. GPI Points: 87.44 Date: 5/31/15

Oh yeah, I forgot about this BS. So they haven't changed it for this year then?
06-03-2016 , 12:58 PM
They might have, I haven't followed that. We will know after the Colossus and the first 10k is finished if they tweaked it at all. Probably know Tues or Wed since the 10k Stud starts tomorrow.

Kool. I feel like after all the complaining last year, they would have at least looked at it.

what happens with the main event? do we wait until november for a winner or is it just normally settled by then (due to unlikeliness of someone making Nov 9 on a team who can still win the draft?)

The only person i reached out to was stuart rutter who told me he'd be playing a ton of events but he also told me he believed matt ashton would be playing a lot (after skipping loads last year) - so some good news for the 7 other people who chose him
