I'm a driving and going to sleep person too. I highly recommend Pokercast and noise reduction headphones for the dentist though. Just be careful of the funnier bits.

Alternate fortnights I go and see family 3 hours away, so that week I save the podcast for the drive up.

Other than that, it's on the morning commute on the tube for half hour segments.

I live in Sweden and I usually listen to the pokercast while doing boring stuff like cleaning the house, doing the dishes, laundry etc. It makes its less tedious

okay i have to post now that its got to like 9 or 10 pages long...

Perth Australia.

The greatest city in the world if your into sleepy country towns pretending to be a city with great beaches and heaps of mining and resources activity to keep the money rolling in.

I listen in the car for my 45m-1hr trip down our two lane freeway into the city (who builds a freeway that starts at two lanes grows to three then four then five lanes and then in a 10km stretch has to get back down to 3 lanes before once again expanding as you get off at the city).

Freeways all fd up here. its mind numbingly boring so having the iphone stream through my radio at very loud volumes keeps me away while doing 2kms an hour.

link to a photo of the beach out the front of my place.

http://www.travelblog.org/Photos/4486108

its not mine, but someone has it up on the net, main path from carpark down to sand and water. Ive been to some pretty fine beaches in my time but nothing tops those in West Aus.

this is the blue holes in Walpole down south of WA. best fishing beach I know. only accessable by 4WD and is some of the hardest beach driving I have encounted at times. anyway the dog salmon run along the holes that the swell creates to eat the smaller fish creating an absolute pearler of a fishing spot through April each year. cant camp on the beach but there is plenty of camping spots back on the road. some decent photos on this website...sorry about the sales pitch included but it had the best photo. ignore the writing.

My grandmother was from a small town in the middle of the country called Wieso (changed to Visu I believe after the war). My dad and I rented a car and drove down and I was struck by the contrast between the city and the lack of services in the country side.

Anyway, can't wait to go back. My wife is also part Estonian so it's her turn to check it out.

Love the international replies ITT. Hartford county CT here--near Bristol and ESPN.

I listen to 4 podcasts:L
Pokercast (my favorite)
BS Report
Adam Carolla
This American Life

In the summer I listen while mowing my lawn. Rest of the year it takes care of Wed commute (1 hr total) and Wed/Thurs workout (sadly at most 1.5 hrs total).

Will have to check out the Chad Millman podcast mentioned earlier.

Also, someone said "while swim training". I might be an idiot, but did you actually mean "land training to assist with swimming fitness" or "I have a supercool ipod that works underwater".

Thanks for the show guys.

Listen on drive to and from work, usually lasts until I'm back home on Thursday but the really long episodes go over into the Friday commute.

This week it's half term so the roads are pretty quiet, the commute is much shorter and I'll probably still be listening on Saturday morning on the drive to play (field) hockey.
Birmingham, UK.
