Ta dude but as I said I live in HK so I have Vodafone-Smartone roaming day package.

Wheels up in 11 hours - wtf am on 2+2?

Also we have an unplanned extra three days and a good mate who lives in Phnom Penh so we might zip across the border and see him then fly back to HK from there we decided, tonight. Cambodia FTW?

It helps to be a European living in Africa who's old and has quite a few international clients.

Never been to Canada, Ireland (and I'm a Brit, shame on me) or South America!

Favourite cities are:

Melbourne
San Francisco
Boston
Cape Town
Paris
New York

Worth avoiding:

Nigeria
Congo (ex.Zaire)
Cairo (see the pyramids and leave immediately after)
Moscow (cold and I mean freezing...and expensive)
Los Angeles and Johannesburg (too big, too many freeways and no heart)

Bucket list:

Angkor Wat in Cambodia
Machu Picchu in Peru
Vancouver...now I had to put that one, didn't I!

Re: What countries have you travelled to and what is your Top 5 wishlist

I'm surprised Bermuda isn't on more wish lists for people who haven't been there yet. I've been to a decent amount of the Caribbean islands (my boyfriend SERIOUSLY likes to go on cruises), but not sure any of them really give Bermuda a serious run for its money.

I was under the impression that cruises didn't count as you didn't spend a night there?

If they count I have lots more to add

Re: What countries have you travelled to and what is your Top 5 wishlist

Depends on the cruise. We spent 3 nights berthed in Bermuda.

I didn't read the "rules" that closely, but I included any place where I actually spent at least a couple of hours doing something in that location. I never spent the night in Amsterdam, but I took 4-5 trips there (while living in Belgium), so I certainly consider that I've travelled to/visited the Netherlands.
