I'd love to hear Ray Zee too.

Also, Tommy Angelo.

Raymer
Stox
Ed Miller

also, I'd suggest that you spend a little more time on limit HE than you currently do.

Re: Suggest a guest or segment

Probably has been mentioned before at some time since the movie

But would be fun to have Matt Damon and Ed Norton on the show to talk about their experience making the movie, and learning more about the game, and if they like to play for real

Chris Ferguson

Mike and Adam could do a follow up to when he plans on cutting his hair and shaving.

The 0 to 10,000 challenge he did on full tilt would be interesting for him to talk about bankroll management. I know Phil Gorden had him on his podcast but there is still a lot of ground that wasn't covered like why he played so much razz when his bankroll was smaller.

Because a good player can win a ton of bets/100 with very small variance compared to HE or other high-only games.

This is really cool you replied to my post. You made my night!

I love your videos on stox. I especially like the Razz quiz you did video 221. After watching the videos i started playing Razz and horse tourneys have done very well at the micro limits.

Unlike the other poker games where i have read a lot of books your videos have been my only training.

I know this is a bit off the thread. Mike and Adam forgive me.

Re: Suggest a guest or segment

Thanks, NL, glad to see you're having good results Funny thing about the razz quiz video is that a lot of those hands were actually played out, with a lot of money on the line, but one or more of the players made the same mistakes a microstaker would. I think that tells you why Ferguson has been so successful at the game over the years

Re: Suggest a guest or segment

I would like to hear an ordinary Vegas grinder interviewed. Someone who grinds it out on the low to medium levels and succeeds without sponsors endorsements and notoriety. I think a lot of people don't really understand playing poker for a living. I have known a couple of "grinders" as well as some "punters" in my life and they work there tails off. I think they could bring a fresh perspective to the "poker boom" if you give them a chance. I love the podcast!

I agree. I would like to hear Chris Ferguson talk about his 0 - 10,000 on FTP. Maybe get Brian Townsend to talk about his second ever deposit on FTP of $300 and how he built it to where he is now.

Re: Suggest a guest or segment

I'd love to hear from poker industry professionals that make a living from the game in ways other than playing. People like tourney directors, cardroom managers and dealers. How did they got into it, what are the pro's and cons and what dramas come with the territory?

Maybe someone like Howard Lederer as a founding member of Full Tilt, is very involved with the PPA and has a dramatic liftime history of gambling (such as being raided by the FBI for bookmaking). People like that should be interesting.
