I'd love to hear Bill Chen's thoughts.

Topics might include:

-the impact of his book and ways in which he sees principles in his book manifest themselves.
-his two WSOP bracelets.
-the 1/2 and 2/4 HORSE games in which he plays and where he finds edges.
-his thoughts about the direction of poker in general.
-views on the advantages of players like himself with remarkable quant. backgrounds and what areas of his game he feels suffer (if any) versus the non-quant. types.
-the back story on why he fell into poker and details about the path he took to become a world class player.

A Frank Jerome/Ray Zee double bill could be a very promising segment for an Omaha themed show. For those who don't regularly read his columns in the 2+2 mag. he has had a major impact in pushing LO8 forward. A compare and contrast segment between these two would be great.

Adding Bill Robertie to the Harrington segment to explore his contribution and the collaborative mechanism would be a different twist. The HOH series is perhaps at the pinnacle of poker literature yet Robertie is something of an invisible man on 2+2. Time to pull off the cloak.

Raymer has a deep well of support here and would be a great choice for the "silent majority" who are appreciate of his hard work, his versatility and the way he represents the game. Probing his political foray would be topical as well.

Jay Cohen (who posts regularly in the legislative forum) would figure to be a great interview.

I know you wanna be funny and sarcastic, but you are not. The thorough IRS has a definition of gambling winnings and poker income certainly falls under that:

I don't know if it is mentioned in this thread but i'd like you to talk about the integrity of the poker media.

Some of th major forces (e.g. Cardplayer, PokerNews) seem almost corrupt. They almost never bring up controversy around online poker, cheating scandals etc.

You've been a 2+2 member since 2005 and only now you're asking how to file for gambling winnings? Either you've already cheated the government or you suck at poker. Most likely the latter.

would love to have multiple guests on simultaneously.
Like maybe two online players, or a B&M and an online player.
The discussion would be more interesting, kind of like what you see on charlie rose (in terms of the poker theory).

Morning fellas - How about some UK / European guests. I've heard you talk of Ram Vashwani (spelling) and The Hendon Mob. Surindar Sunar perhaps?

Much appreciated from this side of the pond.

Don't know how much of a possibility it is but I would love to hear Erik Lindgren on an episode. His aggressive style really interests me plus I enjoyed his book.

Would like to see the 'shortstacker' dilema (as being discussed in the internet forum right now).

Stars has added 50bb min tables (3 per level) and thus far they are proving to be quite popular.

Thread.

More strategy please.

I've been disappointed in the last few Podcasts because there hasn't been much strategy. I much prefer the shows like The Bryce and FslexDuck (sp?) where you actually talked about strategy, hands, etc.

Poker celebrities, poker news, etc. are interesting too but I'd like the show much better if there was a healthy amount of strategy mixed in.

Hopefully the Road to SuperNova stuff will include strategy in the future.

How about getting Brandi on the show?

I can also tell you what I don't want to hear about: prop bets.

They have nothing to do with poker and, really, if you're not involved in them who really cares?

You are suggesting getting Brandi on the show and in the same post you say that you don't want to hear about prop bets because THEY don't have anything to do with poker?

I seem to remember that Daniel Negreanu is slated to be a guset in the near future. Be sure to ask him what ever happened to his book "Power Hold-Em Strategy" that was originally scheduled to be released over a year ago.
