Adam,

Firstly let me say that I discovered the Pokercast about 6 months and have been listening to all the Pokercasts from way back. I get through about 3 -4 a week and Im loving them. They make my commute to work so much less depressing! Just finished the Neil Channing one and it was one of the best in terms of entertaining stories. I may be slightly biased as im UK based.

I would love to hear from Dan Harrington. I think he would be a brilliant guest on the show. I would like to know if he thinks with the huge popularity of 2+2 his books are becoming slightly outdated. Don't get me wrong, for me as a new poker player they were absolute bibles several years ago, but with 2+2, strategy is advancing at such a rapid pace, that everything I need is right here on the forums.

Also Vicky Coren as I thought her book was very well written. Perhaps contrasting the two styles of poker book, one being more story based and the other being more theoretical.

Just a thought, keep up the great work. I love the show.

Can I suggest that you discuss the issue of the lack of coverage of the WSOP on the internet...and the issues that come from that.

I think the analogy with golf is strong. The PGA owns and runs the tour for the benefit of the players. The television fees are fed back into the prize money and for the benefit of players generally. I can't believe that the PGA would allow ESPN not to stream events live if they were in a similar position...surely the contract could have been split into two...and the internet element awarded separately to a company that would guarantee to stream every event.

If the WSOP is owned by Harrahs then the players don't receive a single cent of the rewards of the television and ancilliary income. What makes it worse is that they pay their own entry fees and juice on top...and they let Harrah's keep the profits.

I'm sure Barry Greenstein and Daniel Negreanu would have a very insightful view of this...and maybe the issue of a players association running this or a similar series event might be an interesting discussion if poker players could ever get themselves organised enough.

You could have a French player to talk about the current strike on pokerstars.fr, and explain the state of online poker games here in France, since the opening of legal sites a few days ago.

We were expecting the same rake as before, + 2% tax requested by French authorities.
Not an terrible deal when you get to play only with French players.
But the various sites added more than these 2%, and cash games (especially HU) are now unbeatable because of the rake.

You should consider this. Before the French law, the Italian were first to be segregated from the rest of the poker community, also in an article that I recently read a gaming executive was quoted saying Germany, Spain and Denmark were considering passing a comparable law. This is a dangerous trend to which the whole online poker community should react, not just French people.

More than a thousand people participated in the big Sunday evening tourney on Stars.fr, they would have added to the field and to the prize pool of the Sunday Million otherwise. This is such a huge step backwards. This can't be the way.

I also think it would be timely to have someone from Pokerstars come on and talk about bots and stuff like that.

Can you analyze the playing style of a Scandinavian Player? In both Cash games and Tournaments. The pros/cons of the style. How to play that style optimally? How to defend against it?
