I've read that interview. I assume your suggestion is a level.

I would suggest:

Marcel Luske on Poker in Europe and, if he can be convinced, maybe he can sing a song about chips or the pokercast or sth.

Phil Laak and his take on dealing w/ ADHS at the poker table would be fun to listen to. Maybe he has some interesting stories about home games in LA too.

PHIL LAAK. YES. EXCELLENT SUGGESTION.

Maybe he's busy though. He's a busy man, you know, if the 10/20 game runs at the Bellagio.

it would be nice to hear from Dave 'DevilFish' Ulliott

The "International Listeners" Thread and what you guys said on the show made me think that it might be a cool idea to have people send little sound bites that you could then use in the show. It would need to be a standardized phrase IMO.
Maybe something like this:
"This is [country] listening to the Pokercast."
followed by the phrase 'Do you play Poker?' (or sth of the likes) in the native
language of that country.

Anybody like that kind of idea?

I've seen some of these guys move from the low and mid stakes to $25/$50 over the years and would be interesting to hear about their rise through the PLO stakes, how the games have changed from full ring to 6-max and shorter, and how they approach the game and adapt to the changing player fields.

PLO is the ultimate action game :-) I'm guessing most of the durrrr challenge matches will be played as PLO.
I know iggymcfly was on a Pokercast last year. I can't remember which one, though.

How about hodge05. This guy is attempting to play 235,000 hands in just ten days. He plays 24 tables of 9 max 100nl and also frequently talks to the webcam chat box. He`s currently putting in an 18 hour session. He`ll play music if you send a link to youtube.

Hellmuth would never do it, because the hosts have too much integrity to avoid asking about UB.

sammy farha! would love to know why he isn't playing in the new season of HSP, what he feels about the new internet wizz kids like durrrr and galfond, and generally understand what life is like for a genuine vegas balla'!

i suggest u guys stop bashing UB and absolute poker every single time it comes up.. it's bad for poker over all, and those companies have been trying so hard to clear their image... i remember one ep u guys were saying if u were the director for the tournament u'd ban ub caps.. just ease up eh, i know 2+2 loves to dogpile on UB...

I never know who's levelling anymore

i'd like to see ziigmund on the show. That guy is intimidating.
03-14-2009 , 08:01 AM
Can you ask Tom Dwan to come on the show and discuss "The Hand" in depth? I'm interested to see what he would have done with some different turn cards. What if Barry didn't bet out on the flop or call the reraise?
