Yes, we moved recording this week to Tuesday so his Lock of the First Round is out before Thursday.

Show should be posted tomorrow evening at some point.

"Is your name Alan Boston?"

(no more questions necessary for at least two hours)

Weekly chainsaw segment.

+1! A regular "Live Poker Minute" from chainsaw would get me back to listening to the Pokercast. There have been too many interesting AND SHORTER poker podcasts (and Twitch) that I rarely listen to the overly long 2+2 podcasts anymore.

How about a segment on the smaller events around vegas this summer.Maybe a couple of poker room managers and chainsaw .Alan was a big help with the PH series and it was great.I see the nugget improved the structures this year.Im sure alot of folks that listen to the podcast do play the smaller buy ins during the summer.just an idea
keep up the good job guys !!

Agree with Adam about strategy being visual. Would rather have a book, but lately have been following Jonathan Little doing hands on share my pair app and when he puts it up on u-tube. IDK how hard it is to use, but could be a usefully tool.

He's everywhere. He has used Twitch for some of his recent coaching videos.

Is Alan Boston the character known as Baseball Mike in the book about Stuey Unger?

Could also ask Andy Abboud from LV Sands corp for an interview. I actually have met Andy and he's a nice guy, so when you eviscerate him, please do it humanely. Go ahead and talk to the opposition and see if we can gain some clarity to what we consider ridiculous positions no sane person could really have.

As for strategy topics, can you please have some for those of us who live in the aquarium? Playing in the different stages of the popular lower level R&A tourneys on WSOP ($3R&A, $5R&A, etc.). Feed the minnows! Another topic might be how to tune up your 'set detector' without having it become a 'monsters under the bed' problem. Hand range discussions are always enlightening too.

Thanks.

Hola, great show, found Jason Koon quite inspirational btw, never heard him talk before, any link to any of the stuff he talked about and said he was posting?

I presume you've heard the sad news about Dave Devilfish Ulliot (announced he may not make this past weekend with final stage colon cancer but still with us this morning, prayers with him and his family)

Will there be an upcoming segment/show dedicated to him? Legend.

Time to have Barry G on again: Winning a Billionaire tournament and streaming it on twitch ;-) (see second half of the article):

I'm guessing that they left a bunch for first and then chip chopped the rest and the overwhelming chip leader won.

Can we have someone on with multiple tales of the late, great, Devilfish.
Jesse May maybe? Tony G? Barney Boatman? Neil Channing?
04-06-2015 , 02:52 PM
Maybe all of the above? A lot of effort to put together but it would be great to hear 5 or 10 mins from various people in the poker world talking about their memories of devilfish
