He's probably not the only one. In SOPTP1, Johnathan Little says that if you think a betting decision through, you should consider all of your opponent's possible responses, and what you will do in each case. He goes on to say that he wonders what players who wait a long time to act are thinking about.

(I'm sorry I don't have the quote. It seems that I'm not very good at doing a Kindle search).

Try to get recent winner of WPT Paris, Matt Salsberg. He is a recreational player from LA, plays a lot at Commerce, Bike, etc. Great guy, producer of TV show Weeds so he should have some good stories

Bill Rini has written incisive analysis/criticism of Howard's interview on his blog.

you know Bill Rini is a house schill for FTP/Howard, right? Go back and listen to the post BF PC ep with Bill Rini, as I remember he gushed at the time about how the FTP owners would get it all worked out for the sake of the business and their own credibility. You can't trust ANYTHING that guy says....

Suggestion for future shows...I was a little disappointed with the lack of attention to Andy Bloch's//DF interview. Sadness that is the way the news is controlled by 'the news cycle'. Were it not for Uncle Howie's emergence, I was anxiously awaiting a full PV show discussing what Andy said, yet instead he gets only a passing mention in #238.

Maybe once the Lederer Files discussion is exhausted it wouldnt be too late to address what Andy Bloch said, in detail?

Actually, I think anybody who knows me and knows Full Tilt will tell you that I'm far from being a shill. After the UIGEA in 2006 I blasted Full Tilt for not allowing their US citizen employees out of their relocation obligations so they could decide to stay or leave Full Tilt based on their own views on their legal exposure.

I admit, I never, ever, ever thought that Full Tilt players would not get paid back in the immediate period after Black Friday. The Full Tilt I worked for until 2006 was 100% committed to players. I can't even being to chronicle the number of discussions that occurred at Full Tilt where the final word was, is this in the best interests of the players.

I think the funniest part of your statement is that because I call things as I see them (good or bad), employees of Full Tilt created a website disparaging me. Some Full Tilt employees were angry that I labeled Full Tilt's operations in the US as illegal back in 2006.

Believe me, I've been persona non grata at Full Tilt for a long time. I've lost many good friends who couldn't tell the difference between blog posts critical of Full Tilt and my feelings towards the individual employees who worked there.

When you publicly back people that are crooks, that makes you:

[ ] a fool
[ ] one of them

Maybe you and I have two entirely different ideas on what "backing" someone is.

Hell mouth after his 13th bracelet.

^^ He kinda has a point. At the very least you'll have to make a commitment to having him on when he wins his 14th.

Get Helmuth on there!

I saw a couple of other people had requested him 4 years ago, but you might have a better chance of getting him on now (or perhaps not -- he did the daily show this week) that he has a book out -- Nate Silver.

A chapter of his book is specifically on poker, and even mentions 2+2. He also has a couple of other chapters which may be of interest to listeners, including for example, sports betting.

Guests like Gus Hansen and Esfandiari are ok but what the show really needs to take it to the next level is an interview with a Hungarian $25 nl Zoom player with a dog pic avatar.

Luckily I've found just the guy you need....

More strategy guys, not just the minute ads you've been running. Maybe a beginners section and an affiliate link for new sign ups to raise some funds for your great podcast.
