They were not taking dividends... They were taking players funds. Lederer, Ferguson and others knew the state the company was in. They lied about being solvent for years, and were using player funds however they wanted.
To retain their gambling license they lied about what funds they had, where they were, and how they were being managed.
Ferguson was a director of the company.
These people are not innocent victims... they are responsible for major fraud, for poker getting dirtied, thousands upon thousands of people losing money and employment...... I lost nothing, but good friends of mine lost a lot, not to mention people throughout the US that relied on online poker for an income either by playing or providing a service.
They are scum.
