I'd prefer a one-time donation. If I'm paying per episode then you run the risk of starting to question whether each one is worth it and you end up listening to fewer shows on the whole. It's similar to per user pricing for SaaS companies...often times you're better of selling a block of users to the company instead of making the company going one-by-one to evaluate who _really needs_ a license.

Good job Stars is gone, just like the site gone, yesterdays newspaper.Penny pinching is gunna muck them up,prolly has already.Just goes to show you what the difference in management can do to a company, either make it,or break it,and what once seemed unimaginable in Pokersville,is now a reality.

Confident the Cast will get picked up by a sponsor in the not too distant future.

If it comes down to that, I'll support, whatever the format.

they're toying with a bimonthly milkshake format.

You pay $9.99 a month and get a PokerCast MilkShake sent to you every two weeks. It tastes great and you can read the label for poker news.

For $15.99 a month PokercastRoss will hand deliver it to you

I'd be like you Polar, I'd rather send a few bucks via Stars or something than pay a subscription. I do like my weekly fix of the show however and will miss the Pokercast game when it goes. A crowd funding idea is great but getting a new sponsor is more important. Perhaps we could all put the feelers out for a new sponsor?

One thing that is important is not putting all the eggs all in one basket in future.

I'm curious what the relationship with 2p2 is? 40,000 in listeners is a great userbase. Could we break away with our own site? Have you ever considered the http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/ model?

Just a couple of thoughts.

I'm a very occasional listener (2-3X yearly), and even then it's not for the whole show. I'm not sure how much of the audience is comprised of people like me, but for someone who only listens here and there it's not worth paying $ for.

When do you listen, or what do you listen to on the Pokercast, Moneyline?

I listen when Alan Boston is on (I fast forward to the interview) and one or two other times a year I'll look at the the guest list of archived shows and listen if the guest interests me (again, usually fast forwarding to the interview).

I've thought about this a great deal, especially after panic set in when I thought you guys were about to pull the plug on the show when PS pulled out of the sponsorship agreement.

I love this podcast. As I've mentioned several times, you guys keep getting better and better. The content is outstanding, the guests are timely and entertaining, the strategy segments are tremendous, and, well, you have Alan Boston.

I have a list of about 35 podcasts that I listen to regularly on my favorites list. They range from sports to news to true crime to entertainment. None, however, do I look forward to more than the PokerCast.

I would pay, not a lot, but I would pay. I would also help raise funds in anyway I could. This needs to continue. It's too good. Nothing else poker-related really touches it.

Anyway, just my two cents, going back to refresh 100 times in hopes the new episode is posted.

i'd pay. prefer annual vs a la carte just because it's an easier transaction. up to $50/year.

that is close to $1/episode.

I tip dealers $1 for a pot that takes them maybe 2-3 minutes to deal. Think of it like tipping these guys $1 for the (at least) 180 minutes they put into this.

no brainer.

Why not doing some poker radio ? Why there is any kind of sports translations around the world and poker is one of the thrilling! If there is no such thing as a poker radio then someone must be first! Good Luck!
