this is the link JD gave us for direct download. It always works great but its not automatic, you have to put it in your browser to start the DL.

and you just change the last 3#s to the ep # of the week - next week will be 175.

I use Chrome and I can't listen to / download the Pokercast this week.

If you normally use Chrome, and it doesn't work, use a different browser for this week. This is a known, recurring issue that seems to affect only Chrome. It doesn't happen every week. Usually one of the first few posts will warn you if there is a Chrome issue any given week.

So I recently upgraded my OS on my iPhone 4S to the most recent one, 6.01 or something.

I'm having the same issue as others with the podcasts being in seemingly random order. I can work around that, but unfortunately now I don't see updates. For example #266 has been up for several hours, but it's unavailable in iTunes.

Hmm.. After you upgraded your phone, did you upgrade the podcasts app as well? Can you try deleting the app and re-installing "podcasts"?

There have been reports of being unable to download the show via direct link on some Samsung devices. I've reproduced this on a co-workers phone. I suspect it may be related to a header S3 adds.

In the cases I've seen it works fine with the Chrome browser, just not the 'stock' browser provided by Samsung.

I'm a bit swamped at the moment, but I'll try to dig a bit further in the diagnosis in the coming week.

An alternative would be using a podcast app (e.g., iPP) that automatically downloads new episodes.

I had problems downloading, too, but a recent update fixed that.
