Pokercast Feature Request

Would it be possible to put a link near the Guest Bio which would jump to that point in the show to where the guest interview starts? This would be very helpful.

Wow, they let you out of 4L?

I suppose a track listing would be a good start to getting this. Of course, that would involve Bunner taking notes and typing them up. Too much to ask? Perhaps....

Calling JD!

I don't believe ! is the correct punctuation for expressing sarcasm on the interwebz. We're just back from vacation verified smartass.

Technically, I don't know if that's something that is even possible with our current media player. It certainly isn't my area of expertise as I didn't create the player. I can ask if it's possible. As a concept in general, there are obvious pros and cons to doing this. While it would be a convenience to listeners who just want to hear the interviews, when you are a program with sponsors and advertisers, adding links that would easily allow people to skip to specific parts of the show may not exactly please your sponsors.

One option would be to consider archiving certain interviews seperately as their own self-contained podcast outside of the show. Might look into this possibility.

Re: Pokercast Feature Request

I'm not sure how we could do this if we wanted to. AFAIK there isn't a way to specify a timecode in an MP3 url, perhaps if we had 'chapters' type thing embedded in it but that creates a bunch of extra steps for bunner.

Re: Pokercast Feature Request

Hope you had a great vacation. I am requesting this because I was searching one of the archived shows for a particular interview (Phil Laak) and could not find it. It's probably because I'm old and only own 0.04% of the Internet but I gave up after a few minutes.

BTW this is the icon for sarcasm.
