Ok, as to stalling, is it douchey: Yes, BUT it s a bit of a prisoner's dilemma. If I'm short stacked and I'm "ethical", Im now at a disadvantage to a player at another table who's willing to stall.

Also, I like the point that was made about players who run over the table at the bubble....Is that ethical? Ultimately, we play poker to MAKE MONEY, so within the constraints and rules of the game everything is fair game. Now, could PS (or FT for that matter) come out and say "Stalling is a punishable infraction". Sure....You get the players to police it (calling the mod or emailing support), and players who are known stallers could have their time bank removed altogether. That said, I (as a reasonable person) am still going to take teh maximum allowable time to act if I am short stacked at the bubble. Does this make me a douce? Maybe, but I'm a douche who can now buy into the next tournament and hopefully run over the tables....

Listening now.

Annie Duke: I'm trying to focus on my tourneys, and that is not helping.

Edit: Jesus Christ I just misread a board.

As far as stalling is concerned, I'm curious how you guys feel about this.

When I play in turbo 180 mans or pretty much any sng, I will stall in certain spots (such as when I'm super short and need to pickup a real hand) so that the blinds will go up when I hit the button. If I'm sitting on like a 4bb stack that is about to become a 3bb stack after the blinds go up, it is very important to get the maximum out of the eventual showdown that you will HAVE to win. So making sure that the antes are larger and the blinds are larger when someone isolates for you is EXTREMELY important to tournament success.

The Annie Duke BJ fiasco scares the crap out of me.

Solid reference to AD's above butt/lower back tattoo.

nice research.
I knew he interned with The Circuit at some point. Didn't realize his hire date was all over the internet to 'research'. I am 100% certain we have made far bigger factual errors than this.

Kevmath could probably write a small essay on the number of times I've screwed details up. He usually corrects me in a slightly more pleasant manner.
