True story: I passed out by Huck's third sentence. His soothing, gentle tones lulled me to sleep.

First off, I dunno how the rules in this thread in regards to spoilers. It would be nice if someone could write a guideline for that in the pokercast FAQ thread.
Since I dont know exactly I have wrapped spoiler tags around my whole comment.

Spoiler:

---------------------------
About Huck Seed's segment:
---------------------------

lol @ him stipulating that the young players don't know who Johnny Moss is. Like that name wouldn't be mentioned in poker literature.

Which ocean was he talking about? Can't be the pacific IMO cause I don't think would be possible to stand in there for 18 hours cause it would give you hypothermia. It might be different for the Gulf of Mexico cause that water is a little bit warmer but on the other hand you can't really call it an ocean right there.

The part about not giving money to homeless people was a little disturbing to me, tbh.

Thanks to Hucks buddy letting him use the house phone, I think with his mumbling and all, a cellphone interview wouldve been completly non-understandable for me.
------------------------

[couldnt listen to HSP discussion yet since I wasnt able to watch it yet and need to relisten to Eckstuts segment {tough to understand what he said as a non-native english speaker} ]

Wow....2 hours 44mins eh. Good work fellas.

Looking forward to listening to this weeks episode. I notice that there is no explicit tag on Itunes. How can that be correct for such a long episode? Maybe I'll let my mum listen. lol.

Seriously pokercast team, you guys just get better and better. There aint a poker broadcast out there that even comes close (and i listen to loads of em). Even if i do moan occasionally (cough). I'll be back in a few hours after i have listened, no doubt with more moaning lol - wouldnt be quite the same if i didnt eh!

Thanks

Esra

Haha, Huck Seed is the one, nice show.

"I sound like a mumbling crackhead." Too true.

great show this week. I found Huck Seed to be pretty funny, and genuine. I also think his hair could be on fire and he might not even notice.

For the first 20 seconds of the BBV4L interview I thought Biko was using the "UK English" voice on Xtranormal.

If I could have answered the questions using xtranormal videos, I would have done

Leggo would like an issue a public apology for the length of the show if its too long, Rob and I can be "loquacious."

If the pokercast was 6+ hours long each time I would be jubilant.
No need to apologize for making the show longer IMO.

Sounded like he's was getting pissed off for a second there with that prop bet discussion, must need to lose more weight.
03-11-2009 , 06:46 PM
Huck was hilarious when he just drifted off of topic.

I seriously thought that he was really pissed at Mike for a few seconds after Mike brought up the 50K prop bet. I think Mike did too.
03-11-2009 , 08:27 PM
You forgot to ask if he was high.

Good show anyway though.

Huck was great, I bet he'd be a great bar companion after a few hours drinking

Enjoyed the show.

About the bracelet for sale.

You mentioned that prize hardware isn't normally toted around, citing, I believe, Roger Federer not bringing a Wimbledon Cup to dinner. Good point, but it's a bit ironic coming from a couple of Canadians since the one trophy which IS hauled around to every conceivable function is the Stanley Cup.

Oh I KNOW you aren't talking smack about the cup now <snaps fingers above head>
