Thanks for asking my question about las vegas the show to steve cyr, although somehow I think you had it planned before I asked it in the thread, but it was an awesome answer lol.

Also love how you can see how he really separates his job from his life and concience, like how he sends that guy a 1K check every month, its not much for the guy to live on, but its a really nice thing to do.

As a pretty casual Midwest poker player, I've really enjoyed these episodes were you've had guests who've lived these ridiculous Vegas lifestyles.

Danny Robinson, Steve Cyr, etc. have made for some really great shows, and i'd love to see more of these type of guests every once in awhile.

in the interview, how can you just totally ignore Ashton's comment about playing online whilst underage? (at about 54:40)

Its not like we didn't hear him say it. The question is what can we really say. He's legal now and has been for some time. He was referencing something that would have been an issue a couple of years ago.

We've had several guests tell stories about how they have played in underground poker games(Illegal) private poker clubs(Illegal) and played in casinos underage(Illegal).

I believe if someone came on the program talking about doing somehting that is currnetly cheating other players in any way, we might comment on it.

If we asked him, did you think it was wrong to play underage, he would probably answer, 'it doesn't make any difference since I'm not underage right now'.

Anything that gives us glimpses into the degeneracy in Vegas or what it was like in the past is great, keep interviews like Steve and Danny Robison coming.

Also, please let us know how to win a book before I rush out and buy it.

thanks Mike and good point about illegal stuff other guest have done. This one just seemed a bit more relevant to todays online poker world and even though it does seem like a "dont wanna touch that with a 10ft pole" type of thing I do understand where you are coming from.

Thanks for listening Ozi. IMO playing underage isn't cheating, it just happens to be against local laws and/or against the T&C of online poker rooms. I can understand why some people have a problem with it but I don't think those that are bothered by it would ever consider it cheating either.

Ashman won me over with the Circa Survive mention, great band, can't believe Mike had never heard about it.

PLEASE! Get Steve Cyr back on for some more stories some time.

The best PokerCast episodes are the ones with the good story-tellers like Steve and Mr Robison. Great stuff.

Also, relax about the f-bombs. What poker-player/poker-cast-listener cannot handle hearing some adult language, especially when discussing Vegas life, as well as these guys do.

The bacon bra nit screwed it for everyone. Because of that incident the pokercast is being re-aligned to be a 'family show'. We have to stop this before it becomes the UNOCast. The only way to do this is more hooker stories.
