Lathes have a magnet-like quality, I agree.

Schwartz, I just noticed that the lathe thread you fell in love with is over 2 years old. Best radio bump of a 2p2 thread since 'sup bro' and 'how many 5 years old'

It wasn't about the lathe thread per se, it was the funny reference to it in a recent thread where the dude posted his condo pics and a poster said cool but where's the lathe?

Did you guys do a WSOP ME FT preview this week? If not, then there's no point listening because once you've heard one Leatherass interview, you've heard them all and I don't even know who Tendler is.

Feel free to not listen

Nice show, enjoyed it a lot. About the jerk calling the clock at the ME: If it's such a no-no, why not change the rules to disallow it unless you're involved in the hand? Just an idea...

More random outbursts from governor's/mayor's son in Virginia

She was well within her right to call the clock, and for the reason she said she did (getting worried about her stack size to the blinds), but 50BB is hardly all that short.

The issue isn't really the rule itself, but instead her use of it. She wasn't really in that bad a place, AFAIK it wasn't on the edge of a level, and it really just appeared like she did it totally arbitrarily (the nice way of saying she did it to be a bitch).

If she had an M of 10, which was about to get cut down to an M of say 5 in 4 minutes with a new level, with someone deliberating on a hand, that's fine. Not in this instance. Rule is fine, people just need to learn some common ****ing decency. I'd probably be inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt if I hadn't seen all the other footage of her asshat'ing it up.

800th poast used to slam TM! holla!

One thing I was thinking about the whole "chino" Rheem slur thread that you had on the pokercast... Has David Rheem spent any time in Chino, CA? Was he ever in jail? I thought that there was a prison in Chino. I doubt that he has, but my point is more that his name doesn't have to be a slur just because he's Asian.

This is from urbandictionary.com which I think we can all agree is the definitive source for insults and derogatory terms.

Quote:
Chino:
In Peru: man of asian origins. Can be used as a gentle insult or a tease (between friends and relatives for example). General way of describing a Peruvian with asian traits.

thanks for posting this. I couldn't find the slur definition. I just kept thinking back to the pants I used to wear like 10 years ago:
