Pokercast Episode 334: Mirza “ Zaza” Muhovic and the 2014 WCOOP wrapup

This week on the Pokercast Adam and Terrence welcome Mirza “Zaza” Muhovic to the show. Known as "Zaza", this man from Luxembourg is an online mid stakes online cash game regular and Ivey League coach who regularly plays up to 24 tables at a time. Zaza talks with the guys about how he manages to put in such an amazing amount of volume and how stays focused. He touches on many topics including the controversial seating scripts that allow regular grinders to “bum-hunt” less experienced players and the differences between Zoom games and regular ring games. Zaza also touches on his experience at his first WSOP this past summer, and what it’s like to experience Vegas for the first time. In "In case you missed it", Adam and Terrence talk about the fact that Tom Dwan is now a being called a scammer by Daniel Colman and others, as the “Durrrr Challenge” from years ago is still unsettled. The guys wrap up the recently completed World Championship of Online Poker and touch on Pokerstar's sudden departure from several countries. Steve Day form Pokerstars joins the show to discuss… A hand that he played in a Pokerstars employees event! Steve also talks about the new Spin & Go SNG format that gives players a chance to win a huge prize for a small buy in. As always, the invitational tournament password for the October 5th Pokerstars Invitational for Pokercast listeners is hidden in the show.

Don't listen to these often but it'd be nice to have some post-production done so that guests' voices were the same volume as presenters'.

Yeah, I'm loving the new dynamics with TChan and Adam, but it sounds like MJ took some equipment with him based on he volume and static of some of the guest callers. Maybe it's just on the callers end? Overseas, cell phones, etc.

volume issue is temporary, Ross is still getting used to the equipment

I also wished the show was longer though...

I like the end when Zaza says that Vegas tries to sensory overload people, and the host cant imagine how Zaza could get broken cause he interprets the discipline of someone wt the emotional strength to mass table HSNL as something godly, where as Zaza is referring to basic human physiology and the science of the lights, noise, air, and obv babes

Great interview! thanks broskis!

Adam's rap was actually really good.
Also I'm loving the Zaza interview.

I am committed to giving you guys the best audio quality possible as I figure out this damn complicated studio they've been doing the show in for years. It can be a lot to take in at times so bare with me if it's not perfect, it will be soon

I appreciate the input! Thanks for listening.

Don't kid yourself; there is little about basic human physiology that prepares us for long-term mass multitabling.

1) One of the best intros ever. Especially a reluctant TC rapping his part. Pretty funny.

2) I have eaten balut. I wasn't drunk, it wasn't on a dare or a bet. My old boss was Filipino and brought some in one day to try. It definitely wasn't good, but it wasn't horrible either, it just was.

3) Liking the drops during the show.

I don't really care for the music or drops during the show. I listen to the show at 1.5 times normal speed on my iphone to save time.

+10 on the audio issues. I listen with an earbud in, and had to crank up the audio to hear zaza talk, then would nearly blow an eardrum when Adam or T-Chan would chime in. I like the idea of the drops, but they need to be short and sweet, and should be organic, the way it is now Adam or T stop and explain or comment on each drop so it actually kills the flow of the show. I imagine that is something that will change in time though.

I don't want to be totally negative. I love the show, and look forward to it every week, so thanks!
