Great show guys! I especially appreciated the obvious effort both you and your guests made to clarify when you were talking about known facts and when you were speculating. You got a lot of good info out there while also raising many important questions for future resolution, and that's truly the best you could have done with such a big and evolving story.

He was having dinner with Howard Lederer at Ellis Island. The two were discussing the remissions process for U.S. players.

I don't why, but since hearing about this deal I've just been imagining Howard Lederer scurrying out from under a rock:

"O HAI GUISE. GLAD I GOT IT ALL SORTED FOR YOU. K?"

Probably not, but I do wonder how long before we have an HL sighting though.

His twitter said that he was writing a really big blog post on the subject and wanted to get that done, I would guess because he can answer more fully through that by having time and ability to get all thoughts out at one time.

Re: PokerCast Episode 232 - PokerStars Settles with DOJ & Acquires Full Tilt Poker Assets

Also, you guys are really underestimating the IRS.... The DOJ can easily just copy the claims to the IRS and then let them take care of it. So really, it wouldn't be that hard, nor really unprecedented for different departments to share information like that. (See DOE and IRS, DOE and SSA, etc.)

Not one to be critical of the Pokercast , but the self-congratulations at the top of the show about switching the recording night to Tuesday was misplaced. Having Lee Jones on the show could have been quite a scoop but the fact was he had no information at all other than what had already been made public , listening to him repeatly say he didn't know the answer got to be frustrating , perhaps it would have been better to wait a week and give him time to find out some answers first.

I haven't listened to Diamond Flush yet but I'm expecting her segment to be a whole lot more interesting.
