Thanks for clarifying. I was very confused. I'd never heard the term used as a unit of liquid measure, only as a term for an adulterated drink that renders one unconscious, as in "slipped him a mickey."

Whenever I don't understand something on PokerCast, rightly or wrongly I just assume it's a Canadian thing.

I think Mickey might be a bit regional (in Canada).

I've heard it used to refer to:
- a 375 ml bottle, also known as a flask, or pint.
- a 750 ml bottle, also known a 'quart'.
- those tiny little airplane bottles.

there's also the 'texas' mickey: (101 oz)

Regarding this year's nominations for the poker hall of fame, David Benyamine just turned 40. I'm not saying he's a for-sure candidate, but he is someone to consider.

The list was definitely not my personal favorite songs from the 80s. It was a list of songs exclusively from 1985 to 1987 that would go over well at a reunion. The list was half solid 80s and half genuine top 40 crap. It was designed to please the masses, not just me. Will post shortly.

"nepotism" is when a relative (i.e. family member) is favoured regardless of skill or qualification.

If it is not a family member - this phenomenon falls under the "cronyism" moniker.
