The plastic horse race game is Sigma Derby. It's old and decrepit and usually is a little broken, but it is one of the best cheap drinking/playing games around. You can wager as little as $.25 at a time if you so choose.

Fun Facts:
  • Until 2 days ago, MGM was the only casino in vegas that had an operational Sigma Derby machine. The other one is at The D.
  • There are two Sigma Derby machines side by side at the Monte Bleu at Lake Tahoe/Stateline.
  • The Luxor had one years ago but replaced the horses with camels.

The game requires interaction to make it work best:

Aw, thanks!

I think I deserve at least a little PokerCast karma, since both Mike and Adam have a small piece of my WSOP action, plus I'll apparently be wearing a frickin' toga at the 2p2 party.

LOLpropbetaments.

They have one at my local casino (Lac Leamy, across the river from Ottawa). It's an institution. I've never been there where it isn't in use and there isn't a huge rail. I think if it was removed people would riot.

Still no sign of the Pokercast game in the lobby (only last weeks game).

It's the highlight of my poker week

I've been in touch with one of our contacts @ Stars.

I apparently missed the 'out of office' auto reply earlier this week with my original request to create the tournament. Our previous liason is trying to track down someone build it as I write this.

[x] fingers crossed.

I know this is probably the wrong thread to ask this question. But i searched the forum and couldnt find an answer.

In this weeks pokercast during your interview with Chris Tryba, he mentions "watching the final table replay" numerous times.

How does one watch the replay? Of this event, or any event for that matter?
I cant find them anywhere.

David Tuchman has mentioned many times on the stream that 'the WSOP is archiving these streams and will make them available for future viewing'

not sure when (or even if, seems like a lot of really large files) it is going to happen, but it hasnt happened yet - stay tuned.

Also, Im confused about something: the Sam Trickett/Andrew Feldman thing. Is this the same Andrew Feldman that is so annoying on the ESPN Poker podcast? or someone different entirely?

Completely different.

That is why Mike/Adam bring it up that they are not referring to the ESPN one.

Just listened. The part about feeling bad for Antonio is funny now. I think he got the ultimate Pokercast Karma.

This. Really happy for him. Someone in NVG was talking about how good he ran....average it out with how bad he ran in the other event, and think we are back within normal range.....

Nobody wins without a little bit of positive variance.

Leaving for Vegas in the morning. I'm beyond excited to go the 2p2 party and play in my first ME. I might need some Valium or something to calm down.

Haha very funny, we found the Sigma Derby last week while playing Poker @ the MGM, now I need to post this video, as i listened to the pokerkast on my flight home.
I hope there are some betting spaces working @ the Machine for your party, as it was getting worse day by day, the last the we played only 4/10 been working.
