I was floored when he answered "Ugh, well, I'm one of the ones to watch too" when Mike asked him that question! I almost second guessed myself, wondering if I actually heard him correctly. I really am trying to find a nice way to say how cocky, self centered, and arrogant this guy is, but I don't know if I can find the words. I mean he was unbelievable in this interview. I don't want to end on a bad note, so I will say that he does sound like a very talented and skillful poker player, so who am I to judge.

The part that was the most annoying about Matt's interview was how anytime a tourney he played was brought up, before he can answer the question, he always had to state how he got unlucky in it to bust. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I heard at least 10 bad beat stories during his interview. How can you claim to be a professional poker player and be so results oriented? AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN

Matt Marafioti is an idiot, there I said it. I'm glad he doesn't have an account on 2p2. And I have to say this is the first time in a long time that I skip most of the pokercast. Read all the comments on here about it, so I give it a full listen, with preparations for all the things to come and I was floored to hear some of the things he said. Wow. Adam and Mike, DO NOT bring that guy back ever on the pokercast. Thank you.

I feel bad for doing this because I listen to the pokercast religiously and never come in here to compliment you guys how awesome it is every week, but the ADZ interview was so cringeworthy...

To his credit he recalls every bad beat he has taken in his life and fires off the exact hands/boards/action every time he gets a chance. Kid has a great memory, but gawd, he could not be more tilting to listen to.

You guys are great, just please don't have him back

Props to Adam/Mike for mentioning to Joe that all these states will have poker sites operating within them, and being familiar with online poker could be helpful to getting a job. (Or to use the Red State term, "jerb.")

That thought literally went through my mind a few times at the start of Joe's interview, as those of us with skills that might be useful to an online room may have a future career option here. Not saying there'll be many jobs, but it would be damn cool to take your favorite profession to your favorite poker site.

Finally listened. I didn't think ADZ came off nearly as badly as I had expected based on this thread. He seems really concerned with making sure you know he has a lot of money, but he doesn't seem like he's looking down on other people. Just probably a guy who defines himself by his bankroll, which hardly makes him unique in the poker world.

This is just based off of the interview. I vaguely recall he got criticized for other stuff, but I don't recall what.

He wasn't an A+ guest where I would I passionately demand more interviews, but I didn't find it to be "unlistenable" like some are saying.

I can't remember which episode you guys mentioned this in on the show, but I remember you talking about how it didn't seem like Doyle wrote his own blog when defending full tilt (you mentioned the blog used the word "cool"). Isn't it interesting that on his website he has the hand written originals for all blogs except that one?
