Thanks for your thoughts on this, Mike. After I posted I figured the interviews were probably done in a different order and then edited into the final order later. I know you and Adam have been very sensitive to the concerns of Full Tilt players consistently since Black Friday.

And I certainly wouldn't want you to edit what the guests say. I know flashy players like Matt exist... but hearing him in his interview just made me appreciate humble, thoughtful players like Phil Galfond even more

I liked Matt's interview. Ya, he was a little long winded and gave a lot of not very subtle brags. Basically the exact opposite of the Durrrr interview. Give me Matt anytime and if he's on a poker show I'd def give it a watch to see if it's any good.

Despite this reality show being terribly acted however made this clearly has no clue what is happening. Nothing flows at all, Why would you use copyrighted music and repeated use of the cword i a pilot!? No one will ever pick this pile of **** up.

Matt if you ever read this take all the money you were gonna spend on these piles of **** and ship it to krantz and let him make a real poker reality show.

I agree 100% with what you said about it being almost impossible to get eighty-sixed from Commerce. The behavior that is tolerated there is pretty disgusting. Twice in one weekend I can a player bend his cards in half and throw them at the dealer's tray after a "bad beat." No penalty whatsoever was imposed.

I spoke to one of the floormen about why the same problematic players who are causing problems week in and week out aren't barred. Basically, there are two reasons. First, LA is a competitive poker market with many places to play in a 15 mile radius. Second, some of these *******s are actually pretty bad players, so the other regulars would rather put up with their nonsense than see them barred.

As for the melon bars, those have to be the second best selling item behind cigarettes in the gift shop, or maybe third behind Red Bull. I honestly believe some people think it's some kind of health food. But have you ever looked at the ingredients? NO MELON OF ANY KIND IS IN THE INGREDIENTS!

barry completely nailed the ftp situation and I think I have a very good understanding of what happened and what went wrong now. And essentially it was the greed and poor business mgt and inclination to give what were essentially handouts to buddies of howard, chris, and bitar. Pre-BF it's just incompetence, post BF it was pure negligence on top of it.

And ivey's lawsuit probably did ruin the deal, but that's results oriented thinking, and from ivey's perspective, "I've brought people in who can invest and reimburse players, but yet it's been 3 months and still people are owed, I'm going to file this lawsuit so they see my threats aren't just empty and something gets done and players get reimbursed asap" So you could say ivey ruined it, but more accurately the management did by not insuring a deal and safety of player funds sooner.

if you know anything of adz at all beforehand, him being full of himself shouldn't surprise you at all. I think him talking about how he was a huge degen in high school and early college and volunteering the experience of getting beat up so badly while drunk he crapped his pants shows a lot of humbleness and that he's not just making up stuff to make himself look good. He has made a ton from poker, and from the part of the interview I listened to, he sounded much more down to earth than I would have expected given what i knew about him beforehand. The interview was much more interesting than an average "successful young online pro" interview on show imo, at least the beginning anyway.

That being said, adz's reality show seemed like a total joke (anyone find trailer? youtube has proved fruitless), and he has a history of being very classless in chat and also of a form of collusion (him and other nosebleed reg shared action and talked on skype while playing at a 3 handed table together).

ADZ is a colossal ass-hat. nevertheless, i'm sure there are a few dsm personality disorders at work here as well...

I quite enjoyed this. It might be because i tuned out of the ADZ interview, and only phased in to hear him talking about dropping $wxyz on a meal, laughed, wondered what it tasted like & if he even noticed, phased out again, so got to listen to some EPL rant, barryG and more goodness.

Oh and you're spot on with the PGA-model of the EPL being flat out wrong for poker. One of poker's greatest strengths is its democracy; none of Annie Duke's generation of poker faces has a divine right to be on top of the poker world.

The best reality show would be a series on how hard it is to be barred from Commerce.

1st ep: Spit at dealer, sit out one hand penalty
2nd ep: Call him/her the c word repeatedly for 15 minutes, laugh at no penalty
3rd ep: Pee on dealer, spend half hour ban in bar playing grabass
4th ep (because we're still not barred): Pick up chair and throw it at him
5th ep: On our one day temp ban, go to the bike and start at #1 again
