POKERCAST INVITATIONAL PASSWORD FOR THIS WEEKS ADAM SCHWARTZ 5-CARD DRAW INVITATIONAL IS :

'mjsucks'

Sorry all, appears as though the password did not make it into the show. Got sidetracked joking about the format and forgot to give the actual password, which was originally going to be Madrid.

The only thing I'm afraid about wrt the Sabres is Regier phoning up Gillis and offering Connelly for an 8th rounder.

Watching him skate around in a Canucks uni hoping a strong gust of wind doesn't blow through giving him his 24st concussion would suck

At this point I'm afraid of Regier calling anybody

Whooo! Thanks for having me on, guys!

I never knew much about Haseeb until I read the prop bet story on his blog last week. That was really gutting. I look forward to listening to his interview.

btw, when they made the FTOPS final table deal, blur (Blair Hinkle) was the chip leader. it was something like 60m for him, 30m for Blur and 15 for the SirMac

if blur only had 30m and him(?) had 60m, it doesn't appear as though Blur was the chipleader.

Great podcast as always guys, really enjoyed the ZBT interview, but I have to ask the same question as zgpwns, you said at the top of the show you would be getting the final word on the Peachy situation from Pokerstars Steve at the end yet the subject didn't come up when you were talking to him, what gives?
02-23-2011 , 01:29 AM

That was the plan and we did talk to Steve about it off-air. Off-air Steve pretty much reiterated everything he had already posted in the thread.
The show was getting really long and we knew if we brought it up, it would be another 20 minutes or so. Since we had already discussed it some with ZBT, who brought a different voice on the subject than last week, we felt we'd leave it at that. If peachy talks again or does the interview with Galfond, I'm sure we'll have more to discuss on the subject. It was an insanely busy week and lots of stuff we wanted to talk about ended up getting dropped from this weeks show topics. I had 14 pages of notes and probably didn't touch 5 of them.

Good point on the self-dealing matter.

As Mr. Dooley (a.k.a. Finley Peter Dunne) liked to say:

"Trust everybody, but cut the cards."

Thanks for the reply Mike, hopefully the Galfond/Peachy interview will be coming out any month now so the matter can be put to bed
