First of all, I'm not entirely sure the first statement is true. Secondly, I wouldn't say he didn't care. I can't speak for Terrence, nor do I know if the two had met face-to-face before, and thus can only speculate – but it could easily be a case where he didn't realize it was Ian until soon after. "Oh, that was Ian the Dealer!"

Definitely been on both sides of that situation.

I can't imagine living in the mindset where you either a) actually believe people go to the lengths to post a fake text as subterfuge or b) know they didn't but post that anyway to stay on brand.

Thanks for not quoting him. Blocking him does not prevent quoted text from being viewed. On the other hand, the glimpse I caught above confirmed that he still needs to be blocked.

Heh, I had to read *your* post to even understand that's what the troll meant. I didn't even think he was dumb enough to think that I (or Adam) would bother to go to the effort of making up a fake Skype window for ... uh, what reason, exactly?

For those curious, the interaction went like this. I was in Amazon, about 2 tables from the rail, playing the 1500 8-game. I hear "TChan?", and look up to notice an unfamiliar face wearing a WSOP dealer's uniform. I notice the name tag that says "IAN" at the same time he points to himself and says "Ian the dealer!" I reply, "oh hey, man!" and then get dealt cards as he continues walking, presumably to begin his shift in the box. I was pretty confident of his identity at this point.

But, y'know, I could be making this all up as a cover story as part of my plot to <NOTE TO SELF: insert plot that would make sense here>. I am a diabolical schemester, after all. Someone should probably call up the Rio and ask for the surveillance footage.

I would have stuck around and properly introduced myself, but Terrence was in the middle of playing and I didn't want to disturb him.

Just had a look at that troll's post history. He's really got a problem with the Pokercast, despite listening regularly.
