Live from the Two Plus Two Studios - This week on the Pokercast: We took the show on the road to try and put our ugly mugs on camera. In association with the Poker Vision Network and Party Poker, we made our first live video pod from the Playground Poker Club. To begin Adam’s persistence to run the tank to E finally bit him in the ass. In the news: Kevin Hart signs with Stars, Luke Schwartz fires shots at Doug Polk, Cardrunners to stop producing videos and we check in with Matt Savage to see how his “social experiment” tournament went. We then get into some emails including an insane situation at a poker game in Mexico and more. Then businessman, entrepreneur and poker player Rob Yong of Dusk Till Dawn and Party Poker joins us fresh off of playing in the $1/200 cash game here. Rob gives us a run down of his high stakes session and an interesting view into the poker industry. Topics discussed include whether live poker can make a profit and how he plans to change how things are done.

Just the other day I was going to post this screen capture from my iPod.



This is an app called DashCommand, it works with a bluetooth dongle you plug into the ODBII port on your car. The one I bought is a GoPoint BT1, at a severe discount from a Vancouver electronics liquidator on eBay.

At the time of the screen capture there was still one bar on the 8 segment LED bargraph fuel guage and my car was telling me it was using the fuel reserve, but before it would have displayed the estimated range.

I would be interested to know what happens at 0.0%.

This app gets real information from the car. For example, it shows a lower speed than the speedometer, if you don't adjust it by about 10%.

You're not worried about your fuel filter?

Accounting is not statistics. Think of all of the accountants pinched because they were embezzling money to cover their gambling.

I think the call about Edmonton vs Calgary poker was a classic example of selection bias, albeit in this case accidental.

We do in fact have limit poker in Calgary. Elbow casino spreads only limit 3/6 holdem and Omaha high. He happened to have gone to the only room in Edmonton which spreads these games.

I'd say the action in Calgary is slightly but not significantly higher than Edmonton. The two cities are very similar in terms of action, limits and games played.

Edmonton actually runs a stupid NLO game which might be biggest in the province if you account for the variance.

I 2nd where to find the video version.

Also, one of your adds in relation to sharkscope and earning PKR dollars should maybe look at being taken out as recent news suggests PKR has shut down.

Are they the same company that is behind "Play" Poker on Facebook?

If Paypal and Facebook support this company maybe their use of the "sweepstakes" law will bring more Online Poker to the US.
