A furlong is 1/8th of a mile or ~220 yards (watching the Cheltenham Festival as I type)

They changed from Imperial to Metric in Canada when I was in grade 3 or 4.

Everything small is in feet and inches but really small things are in millimetres, distances are in KMs, but oddly mileage is in Imperial MPG, not US Gallons. A golf course is in yards but a pool is in metres. Weight is in lbs, but never stone, I'm still not clear on what a stone is. 14 lbs, why use that? Does that show up on your scale? Drinks are in litres, but recipes are in cups.

Try getting an iPad to figure that out.

You know, if he weren't fighting TChan, Keegan would be the kind of guy people would want to root for. He's solely dedicated to his sport, beyond reason. How many of us have put in stupid hours working on our hobbies? You can say he's a pro fighter, but he's not making enough from the purse to make it worth the time/effort he's putting in. He's tilting at windmills, so total respect. Don't think his interview made anyone want to root more for him, but we all know that's a skill that develops over time and practice. I see him as someone who is like an online MTT grinder who has exactly one thing going in his life. Totally get why TChan wasn't excited about the hype smackdown, as it isn't really his personality... because he's a good guy.

JRB was a fun interview. Sorry you guys didn't remember to get degen stories in during the talk. Hope he's back soon.
