Finally. Saw the episode at 8:30 this morning and I'm about 40 minutes in.

Why don't they make people alternate full levels at the tag team events if they care about the "spirit" of the event? It seems not requiring that means they don't care about it.

I cannot explain how tilting it was to listen to your discussion on the marathon event and how "arbitrary" the buy-in and starting stack size were.

Here's a hint: how many miles is a marathon?

Other than that, keep up the good work.

Ha just listening to that bit now and thought I'd come to the forum to see if anyone had said anything about that

I'm somewhat tilted by both the hosts and guests trying *not* to choose the obvious response in Match Game. It's not "Scattergories" where you get points for having a unique answer. How did no one say "Dom Perignon" for Phil Hellmuth? But if you're going for a non-obvious answer, how about "women I've not cheated on my wife with"?

I liked trivia better, but its still cool idk. Guests obvs enjoy being on the show 5x more with some sort of game instead of just an interview.

Love me some BSH. Thx guys.

PS Who was that guy who reviews all the restaurants in vegas? Taking my girlfriend in a week just wanted to get some suggestions from that.

I downloaded it from the link just fine.

I'm just trying it again, 94.56 MB, it's a bit quicker, got to the end and then, "Download error. Tap to retry." and a popup, "Unable to Download Podcast...#446...could not be downloaded at this tiime." With Done and Retry options.

This is on an iPod I can't upgrade past iOS 9.

I can play it in the app if I'm onlne. Let's see...it seems to play to the end.
I'm having thev same problem with this episode that I did with #446.

Wow how do we miss the Dom!? Yeah sorry for misusing my guessing powers, although I did try to give a common answer guess for the 1st and 3rd one; should've for the 2nd ( too easy ). My bad for forgetting the rules to the game.

Thanks for listening!

I love the podcast and don't usually feel like I have any comments or critiques worth posting here...

But 26.2 miles is pretty obvious. Maybe that's just the triathlete in me speaking....

Quoting this here for no reason whatsoever.

With all respect to Terrence's situation, I think the nut low is either getting your shoes and/or socks wet without being able to change/remove them or getting out of a long and relaxing bath and realizing you need to take a crap. But that's just me.

Great show, Leo's interview was so funny I didn't even pay attention to the strat talk. Best of luck to your friend Ross!

Came for the marathon reference. Not disappointed.

Me too. Software up to date and lots of space and not having issues with other podcasts.

Please let us know when you figure this out.

+1 Fun interview.

Freaking loved the strat advice for Ross's Friend(TM). "Well, I wouldn't be in this spot on the flop, because I would have correctly 3 bet preflop."

The match game GTO was strong from your guest. Give the obvious answer, and then change to something funny because laughs > points.

OK. One match game suggestion. How about dream machines? Something like:
Isuldur is back to crushing the high stakes. Things are going well for him because quit using his dream machine for GTO poker and now uses it for (blank).

lol awesome MG question.

Got an email telling us that the segment is Ear Cancer. Trying to decide if we should continue with it.

I ,for one, enjoy it very much although I don't expect any of the guests to get any points ever lol.

Also, sample size! It's only been twice right?

Ross killed it on the sound board. Brandon was funny. You guys have great rapport. The MG is made for that situation. You could do the Cards Against Humanity version, but even the innocence of bygone TV innuendo is a plus.

It's got a lot of potential and you're still working out the kinks. Stick with it imo.
02-18-2017 , 01:55 AM
Im not sure your guests understand the concept of Match Game.

Playing Match Game with people that don't know how its played is as compelling as Tchan talking about training to fight for entertainment, the 'retired' poker players coming on to say how good it is now that they quit poker, promoting vaping as a safe alternative to smoking, or the training sponsor coming on each week for a long segment in which the advice boils down to "well it depends".

As for your begging for posts here on the forum, you're welcome for my contribution.
