Firstly, Terrence narrowly avoided a brutal random act of violence upon arriving to Melbourne, we talk about his close call before we get on the line with Remko. Remko Rinkema is our guest this week... you should recognize him from just about every form of poker media across various different outlets, but now he has found a home at Poker Central! Remko chats with us about his new gig and we play Match Game. Since Remko is a veteran of the industry at this point we naturally get a few of his favourite Degen Stories from over the years at the world series. In the news this week: A wild story from NVG, a poker player not paid after running up a huge win in a private game turned blackjack game. Brains vs AI update (spoiler: not looking great for us brains), Gus Hansen returns to the online poker tables yet again and more. We’ve got 140 or less and some amazing emails including one from potentially our first Winter Olympic skeleton competitor/listener, and Ross has made a comeback to the felt. We review some interesting live hands in the Rossco Report to cap it off.

The new game, match/Blankety Blank as it was in the UK, needs some work! There's too much scope for answers and you ask the guest their answer last. It should be first seeing as you've 'locked in' your answers.

i.e. position is everything.

Ya, Match Game needs work but I'm confident it will be a hit if we can smooth out the kinks!

Lobster was the very obvious second answer. Game was funny even though it does need some work. Well done as always, gentlemen.

Are other people having issues downloading from iTunes?

Remko, like a boss. Nice ep, gentlemen.

It was slow, it would never finish, then when it did it gave me an error, something like "download error" or corrupt file and it deleted the file. Maybe it's a checksum error.

I downloaded it from the link just fine.

I'm just trying it again, 94.56 MB, it's a bit quicker, got to the end and then, "Download error. Tap to retry." and a popup, "Unable to Download Podcast...#446...could not be downloaded at this tiime." With Done and Retry options.

This is on an iPod I can't upgrade past iOS 9.

I can play it in the app if I'm onlne. Let's see...it seems to play to the end.

I'm one of the Zune users. I wish I still had a flip phone.

If you want a ipod touch when the zune dies, let me know. It is wasting away in the unused tech box and needs a home.

I have a 'flip' phone (non smart phone) and an ipod touch! I use those together for my smart phone needs. Free wifi and $15 a month on my parent's plan is much cheaper than a smart phone.
