Just finished listening so permit me to post consecutive posts.
One of your emails asked about the "clumping effect" on the Big Blind's hand distribution when it is folded around to you in the Small Blind (I think it was a 9-handed table). The listener wondered how much the Big Blind's hand distribution is strengthened given all the folds around to you.
Here is a link to a thread asking a similar question.

As was mentioned on the podcast, the effect is real but typically pretty small. Generally speaking, I think the Big Blind's hand distribution becomes roughly two percentage points stronger with his median hand shifting a couple of hand-ranking slots higher.
More importantly, Terrence rightfully pointed out that this small clumping effect has virtually no bearing on either player's optimal strategy, especially in an 8-BB bubble situation.
As evidence of the general unimportance of the clumping effect, I have yet to see a Push-Fold chart specify how many players have folded before you. Of course, the optimal Push-Fold threshold depends upon how many players are
yet to act, but that is not the same thing.
I would guess that the optimal Push-Fold threshold in a 9-handed game folded to the Small Blind in an 8-BB bubble situation
may change by a single hand-ranking slot for either player, but more likely the respective thresholds are not altered.
