BCLC allowed you a few years ago to bet the over under on NBA games, including preseason exhibition games. It took the BCLC brains a couple of weeks and losses of several hundred thousand dollars before they realized there was little by way of defensive play in preseason. To make matters even more hilarious, when they cutoff betting on the NBA games they stated it was because of money laundering concerns. An intrepid reporter revealed otherwise.

In 1994, BCLC also failed -- for like a week -- to adjust to the fact the NBA moved its 3-point line in by almost two feet. I was 13 years old and caught this.

Unfortunately, I was greedy. Instead of just trying to hit a bunch of 3-game parlays in every direction (not that I would've been bankrolled for that, since I was basically gambling with the allowance my parents gave me), I just played one ridiculous 10-game parlay. One game went under and the ticket lost for what would've certainly been life-changing money for a 7th-grader.

I'm not sure if I'm leveling here, but I think Tyler was trolling you (by calling Adam 'Ross') for mispronouncing his screen name multiple times even after he corrected you. It's 'go-goals nose', not 'goggles nose'.

I also like the levelling here too but it's probably more likely that Tyler just said Ross because he is looking at my name on skype. He comes off as too nice to pull a passive agressive troll move like that.

So did Ross win the huge hand with the lady when he started the hand with $4500? I don't remember what suit his draw.

Also, at some point it makes sense to leave and come back some other time with your normal buy-in, in the blind or not. Whatever small amount of equity you are giving up by not waiting for the blind is trumped by the fact that you have a very high % of your bankroll on the table.
