Enjoying the shorter and more frequent podcasts.

Oh yeah, you guys were asking for feedback about this subject.

For me, it doesn't really matter that much because I end up listening to the show in pieces (i.e. in the car). However, if it makes things easier on you guys, then I'm all for it.

That said, if you were to go back to one longer episode per week, you could still probably break it up into different recording sessions. After all, only the ICYMI section tends to be timely. Unless the interview was also a time-sensitive conversation, you could easily can those at a different time then insert it into the episode with the ICYMI/Mailbag/Roscoe Report. We as listeners would rarely notice.

Speaking of feedback on the new format, I'm happy either way. Liked it before, still like it now. I do wonder if you'll be able to keep up the pace of two a week though, especially at 2+ hours a show, which is more content than used to be the case.

The main difference the shorter episodes mean for me is that I'm more likely to skip an episode if it doesn't look interesting. For instance, I skipped both the DN and Cate Hall episodes, while before I probably would have ended up listening to those interviews as part of the whole show. Not sure how widespread this type of behavior is/will be, but I guess you can tell by comparing the downloads of one show vs. another.

Something happened in the editing. The ad for PLO Quick Pro cut in as T was speaking mid-sentence.

Gonna be honest, I find the shorter broken up podcasts confusing. Perhaps I'll get used to there being a couple of different types of show (perhaps you could do something to differentiate them?), or maybe just let them queue up and listen to them together.

Ross, directly after your Fedor Holz joke, Tchan says "Dude" in there somewhere. Thought it was yet another great quick Tchan sample "geww" lol

Ross mentioned Top Boy as a 'british Wire' - another one you might like is Line Of Duty - the first half of the first season has some bits that are pretty clearly inspired by the wire, but it gets into its own stride, especially in the second season.

Also enjoying shorter episodes as it allows me to get through 1 before the next 1 'airs'. I disagree with the fellow who thought you guys don't argue enough. I've noted you differ enough on things including Ross' PLO hands. As you say, you sort of come from the same place, poker-wise.

Keep up the good work as I too am not sure y'all can keep the 2-3 a week pace up, esp. when hockey season starts. Does the change in format, more frequent episodes, have anything to due with attending the Podcast Conference in Chi-town?

Not at all actually. It's because of T's busy pre-fight schedule, having a 4 or 5 hour block of a day each week was tough for him given he's pretty focused on his fight.

We're enjoying it ourselves and likely to stick to it after his fight is over.
