Hey Popperhead, I can see your point here not everyone is interested in PLO strategy but I have to say we have taken a lot of steps to improve the report and I think it's the best it's ever been these days. (It's much easier if you have the time to follow along with the pictures I post in the description!)
On shows where we get John on we are bound to spend a lot more time reviewing hands, John's insight is also very high level and I know I learn a lot from him every time. That being said, if it's not your thing it's just not. I know many people do enjoy the banter and it's usually the last segment in the show for a reason. Last thing, without trying to sound too defensive because I do appreciate the feedback. The music is definitely not 5x presses of the 15 sec ff button, I keep it at 30-45 seconds maximum.

Also that was an interesting read Doug thanks

Propbet talk is easily worse than DFS talk especially when it's bilzarian, Perkins and Antonio because a lot of it just seems self promotion and to let everyone know how much money they have. I don't care whether drafting voids the bet, i just think Dan is a pussy for even considering it. If someone bets me to ride a bike or lunge from A to B, I'm going to ride a bike and lunge from A to B. Not getting a drafting van or have my daddy follow me around with a chair and sweat rag.

You seem a tad irrationally upset about it?

Lots of moving parts to a big undertaking like riding a bike from Vegas to LA in a certain time frame. As far as AE's dad having his back with a chair to sit on, that doesn't really even come close to helping to the point of voiding the bet so not sure why you went off on that.

Are you not a fan of Antonio or something? Not sure I understand the hate for the discussion.

About the GPL: Moscow Wolverines? Really?

How did that manage to avoid being either the Mules or the Dynamo?

About halfway through this episode right now, great interview with Antonio.

hey! great show this week :-) loved the interview.

I have a quick question about the pick of the week from Ross and Terrence: Creativelive.com

I am thinking about starting a podcast and I would love to get that content you talked about, on how to make a good professional podcast. Were you talking about the "Podcasting 101" and "launch a successful podcast" classes ?

I would love to pick your brain on the type of equipment you use, or on how you work on your awesome drops !! (although a tad long, sometimes... when you have to use the +10s button 3 times to skip the drop, that's a bit long :-D)

Regardless of this small note, I really think you guys should NOT down-play yourself: you are producing a VERY smooth and professional podcast! the audio levels, the seamless transition, and the back and forth: You guys are really putting together one hell of a podcast and you should be proud!

Is Ross roscotrain on stars?
04-13-2016 , 06:22 AM
Mr Morden the one we have been watching is "Power your podcast with storytelling". This program is especially great if you want to do interviews and/or documentary style programming. It won't be as useful (although still worthwhile overall) if you want to do more news/fact based stuff... unless you're writing it yourself. I can't speak on the other programs but I'm sure they are good too.

And Drew I'm not roscotrain but I hope we inspired that name. I've also played with a guy named "isitross?".

I thought that was a great interview with Antonio. Very relaxed and varied conversation.

Funnily enough, my husband is usually not interested in poker stuff, but he was vastly interested in the DB prop bet (this was just before it went off, we had like half an hour discussion of how hard it could be). Doug, I would probably take the 90mile 3 day bet, even though I am not in shape atm. ;-)

The PLO hands are a bit tedious, because they are getting much more nuanced. Like before, my limited (get it?) knowledge of PLO would be enough to laugh at some hands that Ross played. But now, he's gotten so good, that most of the time, I just go "idunno, lol" - very close decisions and on some level that it takes much concentration to follow. Sure, you could get lost in some of those discussions, but for me listening to my commute, it is just too much work. So it is a compliment in a way, but I'm just bitching because it ain't easy.

Re: drafting, I think if it's acceptable for the bicycle land-speed records for over 100 years, how could it not be for the Bilzerian bet?

Thanks! I'm sure it would be interesting to follow! I'll take a look :-)

Show couldn't happen this week due to unforeseen circumstances guys. You can still get in on that invitational action and we'll be back early next week.

I hear that the GPL is happening at the Wembley Arena, not the stadium. Can anyone confirm?
