To kick things off we review Pokercast secret santa, another letter from the DMV and Terrence is still in Thailand. This week in the news: Pokerstars being sued by Kentucky, Bank of America closes Negreanu’s account, PCA announcements, Brian Rast and Sorel Mizzi box in Vegas and more. Instead of an interview this week Ross has compiled some of the best clips from the year for you in the second segment and after that we have a bunch more mail including strategy questions, definitions of poker terms and a possible troll. We’ve got a couple of voicemails, then we review some hands in the Roscoe Report. Of course, the password and format to this and next week’s Pokerstars Invitiationals is included in the show!

Heard Terrance briefly comment on how DNeg could possibly be getting his sponsorship pay thru his poker account on Pokerstars. It was just a side comment that i caught onto...
Point being, everytime i hear you guys chatter about Dneg and his Pokerstars representation, i kinda chuckle.
Obv. nothing against Daniel, but he is a "live play" cash and MTT hero to me, and nowhere near someone who has pursued any kind of online poker career, yet, he represents the largest online poker site in the world.
When i think online poker, again, nothing personal but, i don't think Daniel Neg, and he's not the reason i would play poker on Pokerstars.
Same can be said for anyone signed to a poker site that would not normally be an online poker player.
Does this mean DNeg is eligible for the IPWOF, for simply representing?

Yeah the staircase its on youtube, lots of good true crime on this list too.

Listening to the interviews again was fun because I can often remember exactly where I was I first heard them.

Haha funny, I do the same thing. Most of my PokerCast listening is in the car, and occasionally on certain road trips (as opposed to my commute). As a result, some episodes get paired in my mind with stretches of road. So ElevenGrover's interview plugging his UB documentary = Interstate 880 near the Oakland Coliseum, the MJ farewell show = U.S. 50 toward Lake Tahoe, etc.

It's sometimes so specific that the very phrase "bulletproof coffee" makes me think of left turn from the Dumbarton Bridge onto Willow Road because that's where I was when I first heard that term (Jason Koon's interview). I can even see the Facebook headquarters to my right.

Cheers Ross and Hammerhands, will have to have a watch of some. MaM was a bit of a mind fook, really made me wonder.

Just wrapping up this episode. When I'm in a catch up mode like this, I often use the 1.5x speed in the podcasts app. What's hilarious is that you CANNOT use this option with Boston. It literally just turns into a wall of noise.

Also, for more giggles put Adam on 0.5x speed.

There was an email about Steps strategy. It's likely out of date now, but Deuces Cracked had a series on Steps STT IIRC. However, I didn't have kids when I had a DC membership, so it's at least 5 years ago.

aren't steps close to impossible for a rec to win? I thought that all regs just bought direct into and grinded away at the final step.
