As a UK listener who cant play DFS I did find it a bit annoying that so much time was spent on the subject this week. OK there are similarities (or synergistic verticals
) between poker and DFS, both online, and having info that others dont can give you an edge (but not sure how much of an edge), cheating scandal in early days of industry shocker etc. I guess its fair enough for USA DFS players who have remained loyal listeners to the podcast while they couldnt play on-line. But can we stick to the pokerz - thats why we listen.
What I did learn about DFS was, unless you play for the pure fun of it and not in the hope of winning, dont play at all. The message seems to be that because of the sharps its massively -ev for casual players, even in the short term and at the lowest stakes.
That email about peeing in the cup while the other players deliberately tanked made me larf big-time. Terrible ruling though and the floorman should be given the boot.
I'm a fan of the Roscoe report, and all the other regular segments (poker related ones
) You guys do a great job putting the show together every week. Still far and away the best poker podcast, whatever the itunes rankings say.
Any chance of getting Limon on the show to discuss all things poker - he is a 2+2 legend and pooh-bah. Recently made his 5000th post. Always an entertaining interview.
