Does Adam not remember that he and MJ introduced us to Molly Schuyler about a year ago when she did the steak eating challenge? I had to watch it a couple of times to figure out if it was faked. Awesome video. She is amazing.

I am 99% sure he and MJ talked about her and how insane she is.

Ps. Great shows recently.

Great show as always but the effing bacon pancakes is stuck in my head.

I watched Elky's stream yesterday since you guys mentioned it, he speaks mostly english with some french here and there. And it's pretty good too, I would watch it again today if it weren't for Ross.

I find it very strange you guys get so tilted by 1 chip calls in live poker. One of the most tilting things playing live is the pace of the game. Each player cutting out exactly the amount of call chips EVERY time is uneccessary imo and will slow down the game. Here is an example, I have Q9 on Qc5d6hJc9d board and face a river bet. I am almost always good here but against most opponents I cant raise for value. For calls like this where you are almost always good it slows down the game counting out exactly the amount of chips. And doing so I find to almost be a slowroll. Far better , more polite I to quickly throw in chip(s) and turn hand so opponent can then muck or unlikely show a better hand in which case you can count out correct amount. This way is effectively freerolling to save time.

What's the book Terrence recommends? I'd like to read it.

Thanks guys, great show. And Ross, I'm also binge watching SoA with my wife. We are almost done with the 6th season. Sopranos is my favorite all time, followed by Game of Thrones and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Iirc it was Thinking Fast And Slow, by Daniel Kahneman(?).

I meant to comment on that section. I agree with Terrance that poker is a great tool for learning about a lot of cognitive biases, most obviously to do with probability and variance/separating decision making and results. And the crucible of hundreds of thousands of hands is a red hot test of poker decisions.
But that strength can also be an Achilles heel: a lot of poker players seem also pretty susceptible to other cognitive biases, such as overconfidence and whatever that one is where because you're an expert at one thing, you assume you must be good at something essentially unrelated.
