These boys got that syrup in 'em they get all antsy in their pantsy. You just can't keep them under control.

Keanu, really? Granted he can't act. But I'm always happy to see him in a movie. It's like seeing an old friend. "Look Keanu is in the movie too."

Nah. That's an old urban legend. I heard the same story 20 years ago.

That's even true with your own wife

My baby was born 3 months ago. In the beginning stages of the birth I stepped outside the hospital to get some fresh air. There was a pregnant woman standing outside smoking. The next day I saw her with her husband and her newborn baby (!) again smoking. That baby was 1 day old!!! It still tilts me just thinking about that.

Canadian Pop Culture Trivia

Alexisonfire member Dallas Green has another very popular side project in Canada called City and Colour(get it Dallas Green...City and Colour...3rd level thinking in this country IMO). This acoustic folk singer act is polar opposite to the post-hardcore sounds of alexisonfire.

Dallas Green is also married to Leah Miller, the host of the Canadian version of the popular dance competition show 'So You Think You Can Dance. Leah Miller used to hot but then bizarrely chose to have plastic surgery at age 27.

Dallas Green performs as City And Colour

That is your Canadian pop culture lesson for the day. There will no be quiz.

lol, pretty amusing article

also I'm pretty shocked by the fact that a car can get seized for driving 150km/h in a 100km/h zone. If that was the case in Germany there would be almost no traffic on the streets.

it's a new law to cut down on "street racing". a lot of people are getting killed in Canadian cities by idiot teenagers that just watched 2 Fast 2 Furious or some ****. Standard knee jerk legislation. We just got a new law two weeks ago in Ontario about cell phones while driving.

Re: [LC] Random Ramblings About Canada / Music / Whatever

I see, well what they'll do in Germany if they catch you w/ 150 in a 100 zone is pretty much gonna be taking your license away for up to 4 months. In addition there's a point system where you accumulate points for infractions (driving to fast and certain other things / 150 in a 100 probably gets you 5 pts i think) and when you are reach 17 points (i think) you get your license taken away and have to go through an enormous process to get it back (involving psychological evaluation of your character to see if you can be trusted steering a car again). Whole process normally costs well beyond 3000 Euro (~$4500 US) and takes a long time.

Also getting your drivers license in the first place costs around 2000 Euro (~$3000 US) consisting of driving school and driving-test fees (a driving test cost about 500€, so if you flunk your first driving test you have to pay another 500€ for your second try).

Of course there's still lots of people getting killed on german streets in accidents and such but the incentive to keep your driving license (i.e. abiding by the laws) is essentially 'cause you have to sink so much money into initially getting it and having to pay even more if you ever lose it and want to get it back.

Re: [LC] Random Ramblings About Canada / Music / Whatever

I'm guessing 500NL+ players fail the test quite frequently, as it's only one bai yin for them to re test (rebuy).
