ESPN has the bracket system pretty well nailed.
If anyone wants to fill out a bracket there, its easy and free...ESPN Tournament Challenge.

I created a group for the forum... you can add your bracket there, create other groups if you want as well

group name: 2p2_Pokercast
password: SteveD

Good Luck every one

random guesses is where the money is made..we need Boston in this pool to show us how its done

True. I just don't follow college basketball enough during the regular season to be knowledgable enough to make even "educated guesses" on most of the match-ups.

I do enjoy March Madness, tho.

I'm in.

what day do the picks need to be in by?
Do we have to pick the play-in games or just once the real final 64 is established?
I see the group name and password in the OP, but is there a link to the site we are supposed to put out picks in?

Thursday is the official start. The play-in games are pretty irrelevant in the traditional march madness pool sense. Just google "ESPN Bracket Challenge" and then you should be able to go to the correct page super easily.

Thursday is the start of the tourney, but AFAIK this like pick 'em pool doesn't shut down until the start of the second round, which would be Saturday at noon EST.

The play in games are irrelevant (for our purposes), you don't even pick them the way the brackets are set up now.

From the group page, just click on the link (user name 1) that's next to your name and it'll pull up your bracket.

I havent even doen mine yet, but if I remember they just leave the play-in games as 'winner of Iona/Lamar' or something like that so you get either/both.
so theres no confusionId get my bracket in and locked Weds midnight

you just setup a screenname/password...then there's something about competing as part of the mass for a Grand Prize. Actually a couple of years ago going into the final 4 I had Syracuse winning it all and would have taken the whole thing down had they not folded - maybe there was 1,000,000 total entries? or 100,000? some gargantuan amount.

go to espn.com; fantasy and games tab; bracket challenge...fill out your bracket, check box the State Farm Grand Prize thing, give your team a name and such...then up at the top under 'my groups' choose 'create or join a group' - search the 2p2_Pokercast, and enter the password when prompted

oh and if you know you think Kentucky is going to win it all, you can just drag the Kentucky button all the way to the champ game slot, and it will auto fill every UK game for you - makes it easy if say you already have your final 4 in mind, you can do those first, then fill in around the edges.

(just entered my bracket - already 11 Pokercasters entered!)

Submitted!

My final four - Baylor, Ohio State, Mizzou, and UNC.

Mizzou vs. UNC for the title, UNC takes it down.

Just joined, we're up to 16. As much as I hate the Big Ten, I think they're gonna do it this year. Michigan St and OSU in the championship game, MSU wins it all.

I am also in. Usually,"in" means over my head, which over the years becomes easier to accomplish. See, even a simple sentence becomes both rambling and confusing.

im in vanderbilt going deep after conference championship boost to morale and confidence. I went off map on mine and i know as a wolverines fan its killing me but im pulling for michigan state to win it. by me saying that they are officially out of the running lol

Big Ten schools have struggled recently at the high end of the tourney, IMO. And I'm an Ohio State fan.
