As you went on about it for so long I thought I'd check out Entourage.
It's quality! Finished it from the start in about a month. It's good for watching when the wife goes to bed and I start playing poker as you don't have to fully concentrate on it and you can whiz through it because the episodes are only about 25 minutes long.
Does make you wonder what you miss out on in life though.
I actually never found it to be that great a show. I can understand why people like it, and have watched a few when I spent a summer living in MD living with fraternity members. If they couldn't sell me on it, I don't know who could. They also introduced me to Its Always Sunny during the first season.
I love Entourage. I, too, was late to the party, and I also watched the entire show in about a mouth. Looking forward to the movie.
My other favorite shows, for those of possibly similar tastes looking for totally unsolicited recommendations of great shows you might've somehow missed: Lost, Community, Scrubs, Buffy/Angel, Battlestar Galactica.
