Comedy Madness Pt. 2 - TV Edition - Nominations and Discussion thread

Alright, so the next competition in our ongoing make-work project for Johnny is a showdown of the best TV comedy series of the last 32 years.

The rules are:

1. It has to be a scripted show. Reality TV, talk shows or stand up comedy will not be considered.

2. The series must have produced a new show in the year 1979 or later.

3. The show should be funny. Golden Girls is out.

Please post 5-10 of your favorite comedies in the thread below.

MJ, Bunner and myself will chose 32 of the nominations and then the fun starts!

Skit/sketch shows qualify - SCTV, Da Ali G show, SNL, Kids In The Hall, Upright Citizens Brigadee, In Living Color, The State, Mad TV, The Catherine Tate Show, Mr. Show, French & Saunders, Smack The Pony, Chappelle's Show, The Two Ronnies, The Benny Hill Show are all eligible for nominations.

The Carol Burnett Show and Monty Python's Flying Circus are too old.
