Live from T Chan's house: Oct 30th 2016, the November 9 kicked off and we got together to watch it live. The plan was to have a companion twitch stream but we ran into some problems. We ended up recording a couple of hours of strategy talk, banter about player fashion, patch deals and stories. So enjoy this impromptu episode and we'll be back later this week!

Love the banter. Would have been great if the stream would have worked.

Some remarks about questions raised during the episode (which you might have figured out by now):

- Ruzicka's "King's" patch refers to the King's casino in the Czech Republic which is going to host the new WSOP Europe event

- I think the "marriage bootcamp" patch on Nguyen refers to a program to guide and counsel veterans with marriage problems after they've been away from home for a long time

- Weird choice for 888 to patch Kenny, since 888 is not even available on the Belgian market. Also, given Kenny's job as TD for multiple Unibet tournaments, I would have expected them to offer him a patch deal. But I guess patching pros just isn't part of their promotion strategy.

- About poker in Vietnam, according to my girlfriend (who is Vietnamese) poker is very popular there. Her colleagues from the company where she used to work in Hannoi play a lot of poker after work. But the biggest problem is (as always) the regulation, I don't think there is legal online poker there. There are casino's, but I don't know if they offer poker and how they are regulated. At the end of January I'm going to visit her family in Hanoi, so I might come back with a report on the post-Nguyen Hanoi poker scene.

I would've probably enjoyed this more had I listened in tandem with the WSOP broadcast.
Good move not putting it iTunes.
