If they live out in the middle of nowhere just go out for a pre-breakfast walk in the woods (with bacon/pan/matches stashed somewhere obviously) and cook something up in the woods in the morning. Job done.
Edit - obviously don't tell them you are going to cook up the bacon.

How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?

Just simply tell your gf, and her mum that you must absolutely eat some meat at the breakfast table tommorow morning, and if its not bacon, it will just HAVE to be one of them

Point out that if they really are that religious they shouldn't really be eating anything on Good Friday really...the fact that they are being half-assed and just not eating meat is kinda weird and so either fast or don't...there is no middle ground, esp when it comes to Bacon!

Last I heard, bacon has little to no health value and was taken out of the meat and nuts category to be put into the fat and sweets category.
Just tell them that humans were meant to eat meat, and that to not do so is unhealthy.

OP is probably being burned at the stake for eating bacon....
on a sidenote the townspeople are using the fire to cook their bacon, because it's Saturday, and you can do whatever the hell you want on Saturday

Dunno what TR is.

If its something to do with the results, not exciting but fwiw;
didn't leave to gf's parents place until the morning of good Friday its about 3.5hr drive away, had expected to leave the day before. So the Friday morning we left at about 6am.
About an hour into the drive we stopped at a bakery for breakfast I got myself a steak and bacon pie. Since most guys from US freak at the mention of a meat pie I wont go into it further.

before arriving at her parents house we had a second pit stop at a Hungry Jacks (your burger king) I grabbed a quick whopper with cheeze and bacon and was on my way.

Fish and chips for dinner no probelms.

GF's parents are cattle farmers, and her brother in law is the local butcher. So the Saturday and Sunday we had meat for three meals and I came home with a bag of stakes and another bag of sausages.

So an all round success, kinda boring to tell the tale, but it gives you all some closure.

My GFs family while not being particularly religious do believe in not eating meat on good Friday. I have a hard and fast tradition of eating bacon for breakfast almost any day I dont go to work.

This year we are spending easter holidays with the GFs family and I at least need to put up a well thought out argument so I can eat bacon while everyone else is stuck with toast.

Surely someone here has a mind warped enough or loves bacon enough to help me out.
How about you just eat it?

Crazy, I know. Do you really think you're incapable of explaining that you enjoy eating bacon and have no problems with how its made?
