All In or Knocked Out - Episode 4 "Ready To Rumble"

For decades, Las Vegas has been home to the world’s biggest biggest prize fights. But tonight there are no world champions fighting in Sin City. Instead, two complete beginners put up a combined $270000 to duke it out in a MMA gym located five miles off the Las Vegas Strip. It’s fight day for JC and Olivier, and the big-money bettors start to filter in to witness the spectacle in person. We go behind the scenes inside both locker rooms as both sides do their final physical and mental preparation, and as the starting bell sounds, the poker community holds its collective breath in anticipation.

This was my favourite episode so far. The feel and sounds backstage, quite unique and interesting.

Loved the episode and so glad that you will finish this project. Once it's done, I'll probably binge it all at once for a second listen. The backstage stuff was gr8!

It was funny that I was out on my bike watching the HR for my workout, and TChan is there talking HR with JC's camp. Good job guys on getting the audio in what must have been a really challenging environment. Really made it seem like we were there, behind the scenes.

Came back to post exactly this. Due to my work, I've been behind the scenes of far more sporting events than I've attended as a fan/spectator, yet this was completely fascinating to me. Hearing the referee go over the rules was particularly interesting – I knew MMA has come a long way from its "no rules" days, but to hear how technical it has become put that in full focus.

Also, nice to hear Ali Nejad's voice. I know he gets a lot of flak from the 2+2 crowd but he's still one of my favorite people I've met in poker.

Great job, gents.

I also enjoyed not having to listen too much to JC and Liv ("OMG, he said he was the better athlete than me!", "But he said I was juicing up!", etc - come on, grow up, who gives a f?)

Also very interesting how Terrence came back from the locker rooms and could tell just by the warm-up punching how much better JC is (who nevertheless lost, and not by being on caught on the ground. Looking very much forward to hearing Terrence's breakdown of the actual fight)

Also: Bilzerian seemed quite cool
