LOL, earlier he said he was falling asleep at his computer.

I'm pretty sure he's doped to the gills and fine in that opiate drugged up kind of way.

Re: Adam's Op

Hey all,

So ya, had gallbladder out yesterday. Hadn't had any problems for the last few months (not to mention I'm a giant pussy), so I was thinking about not doing it right up until the day before.

Karen and Doc told me I should do it now and be done with it, so I agreed. After the surgery, Doc said that it took way longer to take out than expected because it was blocked, full of mucus and scarred very badly from all the times it had inflated from blockage. That poor gallbladder had to work overtime every time I've had bacon in the last 44 years, so I'd say it did pretty well considering.

Currently on some pretty fantastic pain meds. No idea what they are, but kinda feel like I'm floating whenever I get up. Nauseous most of the time so that sucks.

Thanks for thinking of me all, hopefully I'll be up and around in the next couple days.

Re: Adam's Op

sounds like a tough but very wise choice.....meds can be wonderful...I discovered codeine in the Bahamas after an accident there and my refusal to go to a Bahamian hospital......got me thru just fine

best wishes for a quick recovery Adam

****, I take that daily just to walk around.

No way tramadol takes care of surgery pain.

Morphine or Vicodin are the nuts.

Sorry about the nausea, though, Adam. I'm lucky, other than constipation all I get on opiates are the high and the pain relief. Although I'm not sure I've tried morphine yet. Pretty much every other legal opiate though.

Re: Adam's Op

When I was in an ambulance after destroying my shoulder I learned how to blast the morphine...... So good.

Hope you make a speedy recovery!

As a fellow gallstone-sufferer I may be headed for the same thing in the not too distant future.
