Sounds like change for the sake of change. In a PPR league, an extra flex just marginalizes RB even more. I vote for keeping it the same. Then again, I still listen to U2, Oasis and the Smiths.

Kickers do suck, way too much luck. I agree with extra flex not being great, in ppr WRs are worth more so you get away more with having worse RBs. Less flex forces you to have a balanced team. Two QB leagues are the rage now with many QBs in the NFL being similar in talent.

Last year, in PPR, the 20th ranked WR scored 220 pts while the 20th ranked RB scored 163 points. Basically 35% more. So if you can choose position with a flex, you will always chose the similarly ranked WR.

However, the 163 pts of the 20th ranked RB is equal to the 40th ranked WR. Which means, in a 12 team league, the flex is always better as WR. If you remove a RB for the roster for a flex it should almost always be replaced by a WR, marginalizing the RB position.

Of course the first RB of tier 2 (#13) may be better than the last WR of tier 3 (#36) but you get my point.

First game is September 8th.

Monday Sept 5th is Labor Day, so US holiday.

I am good any time on the weekend of Sept 3-5th. This weekend is very bad for me, so I would prefer if we can push it to September.

My vote is for September 2nd, 6th, or 7th. Or late on the 4th or 5th. The 3rd is my pregnant wife's birthday so I definitely can't draft on that day. If it had to be the 3rd I could have a friend draft for me or even run my team with me if everyone was okay with that.

I'll be on vacation so any night should work. I can't make the 2nd or 3rd, but realistically my team will be better if I'm not there to pick it so don't worry about me.
