Spring training is here! Living in AZ I have that right in my backyard (don't be jealous).

Which means it is time to start an interest list for the 2016 Pokercast Fantasy Baseball League (per Doozie's suggestion, I have to keep him in action so he can continue to donate to me come football season). Last year we had 7 players, and hopefully this year we can get 8 to 10.

Last year the buy-in was $25, but I am fine with anything in the $20 to $50 range. Just something small for fun.

Once we decide on format and rules and buy-in, I'll create an ESPN league and start sending on PMs to people interested. I'll gladly take input on league settings, not nearly as well versed for baseball as I am for football.

Buy in 20-50 is fine with me. Also fine with both roto and h2h. Prefer roto personally but doesn't matter either way.

In again, was just thinking about it. I like the 25 buy in. I prefer h2h since it keeps it interesting with the top score incentive.

If it's just three of us, I vote for 3 person roto. Should be fun with such stacked teams

Any draft day/time thoughts? Locking down a time might help recruit people that know they are available then.

March 29th or later works for me. In Vegas 24th through 27th and will be recovering the 28th.

Any weekday after 8pm EST is best for me.

Alright, created the league and sent out invites to the 3 people who contacted me so far. I was waiting for more contacts before creating (or I was being really lazy putting it off as long as possible).

One of them isn't Doozie, so we should have 5 total pretty quickly here. Get on that Dooie, follow instructions for once!

Made a few changes from standard H2H scoring. I am open to other adjustments or changes.

Added a 2nd catcher.
-1 for caught stealing.
+10 for a cycle (random bonus for funsies)
Removes Wins and Losses (+5/-5)
Added blown save (-2)
Added Quality Start (+5)
No hitter bonus: +5
Perfect game bonus: +10

No divisions.

Changed from FAB to Waiver. 40 max transactions (most last season was 35ish) and 5 max per week (scales for multi-week games).

Changed Veto to LM only. Let me know if anything looks really fishy.

Season one week shorter than last year. 20 weeks and then top 4 make playoffs and have 2 week playoff matchups. Week 25 unused. Since we have such a shallow league, it is more likely important players to our teams will be shut down the final week.

Draft scheduled for 8:30 EST on Tuesday, March 29th. That can be pushed out until Thursday if we need the extra time.
