Should Joba be moved to the rotation?
04-25-2008 , 04:08 PM
What do you think of the futures of Phil Hughes and Ian Kennedy. Was it stupid not to trade for santana?

"The Wells." Thanks, SABR!

Don't think anyone has asked yet...what is your favorite non-premium hand? Also, do the still find the game to be as much fun as you ever did?

toughest players 2/4 and 3/6

Only when I'm winning.

If you're winning long-term you don't "suck."

Everyone has room to improve though. I think you might be too straightforward and don't have enough "big moves" in your arsenal.

Kelisitaan has definitely gotten the better of me, although all the AA vs KK coolers have gone his way.

Schwallie has also gotten the better of me at $3/6.

Ackbleh, GM, and Ptero are the best aggro-TAGs I think.

I haven't played too much with epipen and counterfeit.

I've spewed off a few stacks to you. Am I missing anyone else?

Also I haven't followed baseball much lately, so I'll hold off on those questions.

How concerned are you that you've put all your eggs in the poker basket despite being uninformed on its future? How seriously would you consider moving to a different country if online poker went away?Do you ever wish you had stayed in school?

If I had to I could move to either Canada or China pretty easily I think.

Oh yeah, forgot about him. He's been playing 6-max lately though, so I haven't played with him in a long time.

I have a quesion about SC's IP. (including 1 gappers) Generally how deep of a stacks should you be looking at to 3betting/calling 4bets with? I have been using a basic 20x implied odds, but that seems way to high.

Firstly thanks for all the invaluable help you've given me and other junior players around here, it's really appreciated. I can't really reciprocate by giving good poker advice back, so just let me know if you need your wingwang sucked at any point.

What are the different skill sets needed for 6max and full ring. Do you recommend to play 6 max, is that likely to help me develop my game?

Why do you play so (comparatively) little and count your money so often? Isn't there time enough for countin' when the dealin's done?

It's not too high at all if you are playing for straight value, that is just looking to hit a flop hard.

But when you're 3-betting a SC (or calling with it) you're not playing it for value. You are bluffing and expanding your range.

Favorite poster?

Best poster?

Level you struggled with the most in moving up? Least? Biggest jump in average quality of players?

As a Yankees fan which baseball player do you hate most? (one of my friends that is a diehard fan said its pretty close between Big Papi, Schilling, and Randy Johnson, but you're free to pick anyone)

pizza, wings, and light beer OR steak, potatoes, and an import?

Favorite 5 liquors (with brand)?

Is it called beer pong or beirut? favorite drinking game?

Rather take home two 5s or one 9 at the end of the night?

Favorite movie? Book?

Took me a while to get $2/4 I think, but nothing too tough.

Probably Pedro Martinez when he was with the Red Sox because he hit our players all the time. It was most satisfying when we beat him though. The "who's your daddy?" thing was hilarious.

Fillet mignon, potatoes, and a good glass of red wine.

Though pizza and wings are the nuts when I just want something delivered so I can watch sports or something.

Don't really care. I like drinking games where one has to take a shot everytime some idiot commentator repeats some overused gimmicky phrase.

One 9.
