Not really anything exciting. In high school, all my friends became absorbed with poker because of Rounders and WPT. I wasn't into it because I thought gambling = automatic fail. But they convinced me to play, mostly because I was tired of being the odd man out at our chill sessions. In the beginning, we were really pedantic about poker ("You got it in with a gutshot?! You were dominated by about 80%!", "AJ beats pocket 4s? Nice suck-out", etc etc) In reality, we blew ldo, but our egos would receive weekly fill ups at this JUICY ass homegame we played in where every game they would ask if we were playing with "wrap-around." For those that don't know, "wrap-around" means you can make a straight from Q to 3 with QKA23. My friends would also collude against the other players. For example, "I gotta go to the bathroom" meant the person who said that was holding a flush. Bathroom/flush, see the connection? I'm not kidding.

In 2006, on the advice of a high school teacher, I started playing poker on the internet. This was during the last glory days of Party Poker. All you 2007 bustos don't even have a ****ing clue how profitable poker can be. That high school teacher also taught me a terrible nit set-mining strategy and I think my win rate then was still higher than my win rate now (that's just how good the games were). Actually, he currently rakes in the big bucks coaching at WPT Boot Camp, branding his students with his characteristic uber rock style, so what the hell do I know?

In September of 2006 (almost on par with September 2001 in terms of tragedy), Party Poker closed its doors to US customers. By October, I was playing on FTP and man was I getting OWNED. Every player was expert status in my book. But luckily, I dropped my pride enough to recognize help was in order and joined a forum (not this one). That forum really sucked balls, because 6-max was mixed in with FR, and there was one 6-max tyrant who basically lorded over the forum and had a bunch of sycophants +1ing everything he said (which would always be to shove, regardless of board texture, opponent, or hand).

Now I post here, and not to fondle you guys nuts or anything, but it really kicks ass. It's helped my game a ton and is also a great stress release.

Not really sure about winning. In terms of big blinds, I recently got it in at NL200 against 3 players with top set and two of them had flush draws and the other one was a donk so he just had something ridiculous. I think I won maybe like 2.3 buy ins from that hand.

Losing was a $2000 pot I played at 2/4. I turned the second nut straight against some fish and check/raised him half my stack. He called with bottom two pair and proceeded to river his 4 outer.

Stop playing 24 tables (aka develop a soul). Move out of Europe (see previous).

Um, there was the one where I misclick folded Kings preflop and the board came AAA and the guy had AK. That was pretty great.

Um, recently, like a month ago, I soul read some fish and I check/raised him all in on the turn with AQ high (npnd) in a three-bet pot when he had 2/3 of his stack committed and I was POSITIVE he would fold and he did fold.

Like nine usually. I can't cascade/stack and I only have a 17 inch monitor. I'm getting another one this weekend and I'm gonna try for twelve.

Raising preflop significantly more than I limp. Also, going broke with more marginal hands and trusting my reads rather than relying on some set of rules I read in a poker book.

I don't like sports. But American football is cool.

In terms of funny, I'd have to say The Main. Everything that guy says cracks me up. In terms of strat, idk, there are a lot of top notch posters, SABR, soah, from High Stakes, ranka and the other guy I always confuse with ranka, coordi from the bustos. Trebek. Chargers very often has similar things to say as me, so obv I think he's good. Really most of you guys are pretty solid posters.

Um, idk, Ashylnn Brooke is good. Whitney Stevens. Tits are very important. There was this one solo girl, superlatively annoying but turbo hot. Angela Devi. Google this chick. I actually think she died, which is a little bit of a turn off when watching her videos (or a turn on, depending on your fetishes) /necrophilia

Not really. When I swong, I like to tell my monitor how I'm the unluckiest person in the world, and how of course they have the tippy top of their range against me every hand. As well, there's some knuckle indentations in my wall, but this is pretty standard stuff I would guess.

I live in Hudson County, New Jersey. I recently learned that my county is the most corrupt in all of the United States (I always knew it was crooked, but didn't fully grasp the extent), so much so that a class was offered in Stanford University (?) on Corruption in Hudson County. That said, I probably wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Maybe a gambling town like AC.

I really like all the poker nomenclature, (donk, fish, spew, etc) and have incorporated it into my everyday speech, much to the confusion of non poker players.

Yeah. See my previous post. Um, NJ smells, the roads here are absolutely terrible, as are the drivers (myself included). Everyone is incredibly conniving and trying to beat the system, making overly elaborate schemes to avoid spending tiny amounts of money. Trebek, you live in like West New York right? You know how many people try to cheat the $2 light rails? Or the immi bus drivers that try to give you bad change. It's like a whole state full of Costanzas.

Unfortunatley, I moved DOWN to my current stakes of NL200. I was a winner at NL400, but just wasn't satisfied with my game at all. Plus, playing with regs is sooooo stressful to me, and that's pretty much what NL400 and above is.

I can whistle making an 'S' (the letter ess) sound. This was cool in grammar school because I would whistle in class, and making that sound doesn't require you to really alter your face so the teacher would be like "WHO THE HELL IS WHISTLING?!" and never know. Also, I can do a sick a dolphin call. And the hands down best impersonation of Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Favorite music is alt rock, grunge. Cynical stuff. Nirvana, Alice in Chains. I like some rap, Biggie, Nas, Illmatics gotta be one of the Top 5 albums ever. Movies, I like superhero movies, so Spider-Man 2, Chris Nolan Batman, and Iron Man was entertaining. Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, those were awesome (but I'm not gonna say Quentin Tarantino is awesome because Grindhouse was such crap). 3:10 to Yuma kicked ass. ****in the first live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie rocked my socks off when I was little and I still think it's pretty sweet. I'm also really digging all those Seth Rogen movies that have been coming out recently.

As an aside, since we're on the topic of music, one of my biggest pet peeves is when people say "I like everything, well except country." Oh and one other thing

ATTENTION COLLEGE STUDENTS: Stop liking Boondock Saints and develop some ****ing taste. What a bag of **** that movie is. It doesn't follow that because you patch together every "cool" or "OMG awesome!" moment from every movie you saw that you then have a good movie yourself.
