but here is a question about myself:

should i go for the 1,250,000 milestone or should i just go for sne?
- i currently have 562,656
- i am taking summer and fall quarters
- summer quarter is only 6 weeks
- if i went for the 1.25 mil milestone, i would have very little luxury time
- sne fpps + 10k = $30k
- 199 days left in year i think
- i will have to take the end of December off or my folks will get mad
- if i can make sne by end of sept, stars buys me into wcoop
- stars is at 18.1 billion hands right now, they might have a double fpp promo at 20 billion


if i could play everyday i would need 3.4k vpps a day, which would be no problem. if i take off 29 days for holidays that is 4k per day, still no problem. however, with skool might be tough. there will be days in which i will have to not play at all because i need to write 8 page research papers, or study for a difficult final. however, it is $30k in bonuses alone, and who knows what i will make by playing.

if i tried and failed at 1,190,000vpp that would suck.
if i did not try i would have no motivation to play after getting sne.
if i did not try, and the have some mega month long promo for the 20billion hand that would suck because i could have easily done it.

no way in hell, its a dirty business, and online poker hurts a lot more people than it helps. however, i would never tell my children they couldnt try it became apparent that its a problem

probably not. by that point its more "okay" for an intelligent person to make ridiculous money and once other people my age have jobs, i think it will be much more "okay" for me to not hide things. but i still wont be flaunting the money nor giving anyone approximate figures or anything, i cant see ever doing that

haha i would be extremely surprised to see this, it takes a long time to change peoples minds about certain things

my advice is to play it by ear. you dont need to decide right now, and i think you should do what im doing (wanna get elite but might settle for 800k): budget to get 1.25 million, but re-evalute at one million. if you dont think you can get 1.25, then dont play another hand and enjoy an extended vacation. try out other sites, or try out different games, experiment, etc if you dont wanna completely get away from it. dont get me wrong, 30k is A LOT of money. if you decide to settle for elite, and then they stick in a double promo, play a ****ton and try to get back on track. honestly, you have all the info you need to decide, and it just depends on what life brings you in the next 6 months.

that being said, 30k is so so so much money, especially if you can save/invest it, but youre younger years are so valuable as well. lol this is so person dependent i really cant answer for ya

drunk story:
ok so about mid-freshman year me and a buch of my friends decided we wanted to do senior week all over again, only better. we decided to book a house, but since college lets out earlier than highschool, we could book the beach house in mid may. this worked for two reasons: one, we could go on a vacation right after school, so no one had to worry about getting off of work, and two, the prices of beach houses in mid may are disgustingly low. i paid 50 bucks rent for the weeklong trip.

anyways, its 12 of us in this house, and all week, we get in these modes of daring each other to do things, although its usually nothing crazy. well, fast forward to the last night, someone turns to me and says "you wont go in the ocean." well **** that, im not getting outdone, so i say to my male friend, "you wont jump in naked." well he then calls me a pussy, and we both agree to do it, and we eventually convince two other girls and one other guy to do it because anyone who cant be convinced to do something stupid isnt drunk enough, and we were drunk enough. so sure enough we get to the beach, and this is at about 11pm, so no one else is there and its kind of dark, and me and the other originator of the bet are going in thinking theres no way the rest are gonna follow through. well everyone else from the house, along with 3 visitors for the night, all come down to witness and take pictures lol. well sure enough, the girls are the first ones to rip off their clothes and they just start sprinting towards the ocean, so us 3 guys follow suit, and were in the 60 degree (is that cold for water? it was freezing but not deathly so) ocean for probably 20 min, doing nothing sexual, but having the ****ing time of our lives. we get back to the beach and meet back up with everyone, pose for some pictures, see some of the action photos, laugh, get some towels on, and think wow that was really fun. as we get back to the house, we decide funs not over and we all get into the shower, someone actually grabs shampoo and soap (idk we were drunk) and were in the shower for another 20 min, just goofing off and laughing our asses off. the craziest part is since we were all super-close friends, there really was no sexual feelings. i honestly wasnt trying to peep a look at the girls, and it was just a great time. no pics are being shown obv so dont bother asking.

high (kinda) story:

ok so my best friend's roommate (lets call him mark) last semester has this best friend from back home (lets call her stacy) who goes to school in erie, pa, which is about a 7hour drive from philly. she lives with 7 other girls in a house, and other than mark who knew stacy, none of us (me, best friend, other best friend, and mark) had ever met anyone who lived in the house. we decide **** it, were gonna pick up a couple ounces from a dealer, get a bunch of shrooms, and flip them and make some money, cause erie is in the middle of nowhere and they didnt have easy access to weed and shrooms. in addition, the main reason the me and the two kids went is because the girls that live in this house are hot. seriously, theyre all hot, theres not that one girl that you gotta be careful when youre drunk around her cause you dont wanna mess up, every single one of them is legit. so were smoking the whole ride up, and its lightly snowing, and were on I-80 for like 5 hours, and its the coolest road trip in the world. the snow, when we put our high beams on, looked just like that one old windows screen saver from space where the white parts are coming right at you (not sure how else to explain it) and were loving life. then we get within half an hour and we start getting paranoid. these girls dont even know us, it was 2am by this point, theyre probably pissed off that the one girl let 4 guys come and crash for a weekend, yada yada yada. so we get there, and holy **** these girls can throw a party. plenty of alcohol left, no one near close to going to bed, place is popping basically, and the most important part is that the ratio is heavily favoring girls, which is a rarety nowadays. girls are great to us, very inviting, basically down-ass chicks, like hardcore. were all high out of our minds, and cant really drink heavily, but we feel nothing but comfort. theres ample couch space, and we all fall asleep by like 5am. next morning we wake up, and again were scared as **** that theyre gonna be bitches, not want us there, whatever, but again, theyre just awesome. we get to that night, they throw another party, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US gets with a different girl. it was like a ****ing brothel, we all wake up the next day, hung over as ****, and are stunned that the plan actually worked. throughout the weekend we flipped nearly everything we brought, so we made money on the trip, smoked for free, got some ass, and had a ****ing awesome time. on the ride home, i was involved in the greatest "teamwork" ive ever seen on the highway. there was two cars in front of us, and the three of us stayed in the exact same order, weaving in and out of traffic, for seriously THREE ****ING HOURS. when we got off the highway, we sped up, honked our horn, and the car in front of us reached their hands out of the window, because THEY KNEW. ive never seen anything like it, and we were again high out of our minds, and it was a perfect ending for a great roadtrip (we got back around 1am monday morning)

unfortunately, the trip didnt mean as much to us as them. they had a chance to visit us that spring break and ditched at the last second, and im sure its because they didnt feel the magic of the road trip the same as we did. but it is still the best road trip ive ever taken, and nothing can take that away (cue the music)

how do you avoid talking about poker to your broke college friends? it got around that I played and now I have to deal with all the typical if I give you $100 can you turn it into $200 stuff along with can you teach me or the donks saying I should come to there $5 home game.

idk if anyone else is in the same boat as me, but my friends just dont ask ******ed questions even though they know nothing about poker. it literally never comes up, and theres a fair number who still dont know i play, because i tell people who do know not to tell people. idk its just not hard to deflect the questions and change the subject, people just get annoyed at the stupid questions, but remember, most people are really just curious, and dont mean any harm and are truly interested, so cut them a break and dont get pissed and just keep telling them BS
